There is a calendar around for events that have been confirmed so far this year. We are also introducing a hillclimb at Haunted Hills into the Club Championship. Contact Brute6 for more information as he should be able to help you out.

DABOSS, it is not neccessarily open to just club members but you have to be a member of a CAMS approved club to compete in these events. Also if you want to be involved in the Club Championship you would have to become a member of the club.

As for any of the other events of the website you are more than welcome to come along but please be aware that some events are only open to current members only, so it would be best to drop the organiser of the event an email just to make sure. Hopefully this helps.

G'day DABOSS,

Just to clarify, as MOTIV8 said, we welcome all to our events. For example, at our Westernport Festival display we have 6 cars out of the blue turn up and come along with us.
The exceptions as MOTIV8 mentioned are things like the Grand Prix display and Kiwanis and AFD. Most other events we don't have to pre-register etc so we can allow for new and prospective members.

Hope that helps,

Cheers

XRCISM, and fellow motorsport entrants, here's the proposed 2009 Calendar. This will enable you to prepare for the rest of the season:

Rnd 1 Sandown Feb 8 - completed
Rnd 2 Phllip Island Apr 5
Rnd 3 Sandown May 17
Rnd 4 Winton June 6
Rnd 5 Sandown Aug 8 or 9*
Rnd 6 Phillip Island Sept 20*
Rnd 7 Haunted Hills Hillclimb Oct 18*
Rnd 8 Sandown Nov 1

Dates with * refer to proposed events for us. I have the date for the 6 hr Regularity Relay at Phillip Island on the weekend of Aug 8/9, so I'll need to find out about that clash.
I've applied for the Haunted Hills date, but have not heard a response back yet, so that is unconfirmed so far.
We also have DECA booked for August 23, so keep that day free!!

dates without an *, are confirmed definate dates, while the others I'm investigating.

Hopefully this gives everyone an idea of what the year ahead looks like.

Cheers!

Brad
