Here are a few that I've built. Unfortunately I don't have better pics.
a 1/48 Skyraider, 1/72 B-29 and a 1/72 B-17B (which won the 2nd place trophy at a scale model contest several years ago).

The amazing thing about the Canberra Bomber, is that the RAF was still flying the photo-reconnaissance version up until 2006, even though there was a specialised Tornado version in service in one of their tornado squadrons for the role.
As for Canberra wrecks, are the ones in the paddock near Amberly/Queensland Raceway still there? Edit: Regarding the Tiger ARH, fairly sure most of them have been delivered now, based at Darwin? |

I see your P-38 and raise you: Got him that time; the P-38 wasn't that effective in the European Theater, when used in the Pacific however they were very usefull.

Check this site out. Ever wanted your own Spitfire? they make a 80% and a 90% size Spitfires powered either by an Isuzu V6 or a LS2 V8 engine. And they are an Aussie company based in Qld!! Wonder if they could make one with the new Coyote Supercharged motor?

Not quite a plane, well it did fly at an altitude of 20 ft. But takes the prize as the weirdest thing I've ever seen. Heavy lift ground effect vehicle, even fitted with antiship missiles.

Correction, RAF Fairford. And as for that B1 Lancer, that would rate on my scale as being the loudest man made object on the planet.
