Look at the bone structure... that is ridiculous. The skull on #40 is clearly the skull of an adult male. That's without even mentioning the width of shoulders, etc.

Ok I get that OP has an issue with a potential unfair advantage in sport, but some of the comments in this thread are unacceptable.

Trans people are people.

Think before you post.

They need to have a separate category 'Transgender Olympics', like they have with special olympics. Problem solved

An Alpha male Lion (could be any species)

Dominated the area for ten years, half-blind in one eye, snout and surrounding areas covered in battle scars only to be dethroned by a young-buck that's most likely his great great great great grandson.....limps away and dies within weeks under the shade of a lone tree - he's done his job.

Now imagine a transgender vegan SoyBoy Lion....everything around it gets lazy and becomes weak.

Agree, too many people being wound up by talkback radio and The Daily Telegraph about issues that are either non-existent or of no real concern.

IMHO: TransGender is a socioemotional situation. (I do not mean this to be dismissive)

Sport should be down to Science, not how the athlete identifies

A test should be developed, and then that rule consistently applied

Meh...
I dont see an issue. So many other parts of our society are being "equalised" for opportunity so why segregate sport. You wanna compete - go ahead.
Make mixed sports an equal opportunity. Why segregate only when it "suits", and ask for equality when it suits.
Mix it up people ..... and may the best person / man / female / trans / Gender fluid / LGBTQUTRDSETYVWXYZ win !!!

Now that you understand intersex and transgender are different things do you understand how offensive your post is, to either group?

Can you understand how offensive it must be to a biological female, to have to compete against an intersex or MtF transsexual athlete?

No I am not; a biological female, intersex, MtF transsexual(sic) or a snowflake.

Which are you?

I tried logic, pointing out the fact the article in the OP was BS but no one is interested.

So many snowflakes in this thread being triggered by something that; has not happened, they have little understanding of and has zero effect on them.

Well, not really. Logic dictates looking at all the available evidence. Even with the IOC further lowering the testosterone limit, 1 year of hormone lowering is insufficient. Research shows significant musculature advantages remain for even 3 years post-hormone lowering treatment.

And the hypocrisy is that when the IAAF first introduced testosterone limits for intersex/trans athletes, the CAS overturned their decision arguing the IAAF had insufficient scientific basis to do so. But the IOC, in allowing intersex/trans athletes, relied on virtually no science, and instead pushed it through on human rights grounds.

AFAIK, competing in sport professionally is not a human right.

Does your evidence run to the long list of transgender athletes about to descend on the next Olympics and steal all the medals?

Just the top ten maybe?

Can you name one?......

Why should it? Do you normally wait for something bad to happen before you consider precautions?

No you are correct, consider me triggered!

But aren't the hard right always telling us we should not be pandering to minorities?

The Trans community is tiny; the number of Trans athletes is even tinier!
The number of Trans athletes that could possibly compete at Olympic level must be so small that’s why no one can find any.

Am I not pandering to a non-existent minority by paying any attention to them?

Look at the bigger picture. It’s not just about them competing at Olympic level.
It contrasts with feminism and the concept/myth of male privilege.
It’s fooling society that this mental illness is normal, and standby for anyone who dare to disagree on a public level.
The whole concept is a farce and needs to be knocked on the head.
