The first cruise I went to, was GOR. I'm not sure how many years ago, I think 2003. I drove 4.5 hours to get there (should have been longer ;)), only to be late and arrive as everyone was leaving! I tailed the group back to melbourne (we didnt stop so I didnt meet anyone LOL) and then got to melb, turned around and headed back to near SA...
I think the first meet I went to and actually met people was one of the infamous monday night mini-meets, I think the first person I met was one Sunny, Damo, Ash or one of those clowns, I have no idea... Damn, my car was such a ****ter back then haha.

Haha check out Doug's car in those pics.. it was red!
First cruise for me was that one up at Bundoora. Forgot the name of the place. AcidBurns fried his coil wiring and BassCrazy helped him out for a bit with it then the cruise just went to crap. I remember that was when Simon did the first BBM conversion ever heard of and everyone was like "woooaahhh"".. It was sick.. Sundeep |

And in EFFalcon's photo, I can see a silver EA with 4WD ride height... and that was well before my first cruise! I'll post up some pics next week. My internet is currently capped for going over the 20GB limit, but it will be all good next week. On those two FF.au / Fords Downunder cruises I did before my first e-series cruise, I met EA2BA and EFFalcon. I already knew Ghia5L before that.

Juarez? Is he dead? In fact I think most of these people are dead.
Wow, I've actually seen Jack's car running! Amazing. And come to think of it I've never taken my car on a GOR cruise. |

I never met Acidburns, but I remember the story. It must've happened shortly before my first meet.. A Lancer with EVO kit, it was the in thing to do haha.

My first meeting with E-Series peoples was Heathcote, June 2003. It was my 6 month anniv. with my (then) gf, but she was badly hung over that morning so I dumped her at her parent's place and rocked up several hours late to the drags. It rained 30 minutes after I arrived :(
I met a few E-Series peoples there, but the only one I remember meeting is Jack, and some dude with a feral-spec EA wagon (like country ute style), although I chatted with about a dozen of you. My most vivid memory of that day was watching a nasty charger take on a little *****box gemini. The charger looked like an animal, and pulled a 13 sec ET. The little gemini? It quietly buzzed its way to a 9 sec ET (yes, rotary!) :P It looked 100% nanna-spec too! My first E-Series cruise? GOR 2003 Who can forget SAAB city, and the female occupant of a 4WD at Lorne who flashed us her b00bies! |

Are any of these people above still on the forum?!
While I have moved on, that EA is still in the family, and lives on Phillip Island!! When it was seen in the Uni carpark, my girlfriend would have been driving it. |

Most people have been banned as you can see. Some are still around here though, new club has formed and E-Series has moved on to another forum.

That's funny, looks like E-Series is right here on this forum?
Infact, this thread is in that section now?
