Yeah it will be a little, especially only know people by thier screen names!
Might be a good idea to let each other know our names before the cruise.

I guess this willdepend on the weather on the day. But knowing some of the members we could easily end up at one of the local pubs well into the night...

I might approach the local Ford dealer (I do have some contacts and they are opening a new show room) and try get a (or more) FG there for people to have a look at. With any luck they will support us for a bit of fun and we can make a day of it!

I'll bring an esky and some soft drinks. Pub sounds good, but if anyone asks I'm not a P Plater :

My Name's Clay,
And I'll either be there in my Ice Mint BA with 'AIRMON' on the boot.
OR a White EF GLi Wagon depending on what happens the night before.

My wife works for Peter Warrens who own macarthur ford campbelltown (who my father in law also works for) & camden. She's going to have a chat with the dealer principals to see if she can arrange something for the day. It may only be an hour or 2, then again it could be for the whole day but she'll see what she can do about arranging an FG or 2.

rightio guys, the wife has spoken to the dealer principal at macarthur ford in camden and has been given the all clear to borrow an FG for a couple of hours. It's still unclear on what model she'll be able to get and we probably won't know until the day before, but i'm trying to push for an XR of some sort. More eye candy to look at :-)

Greg, we'll have to sort out what time the car should be there and i'll run the wife up the road to pick it up and she'll drive it down. I was thinking that if proceedings start around 12, then maybe half hour later i'll take her to pick it up. Give ppl a bit more time to get there. I'm just trying to sort it so everyone gets a chance to have a look and a sit, take pics and stuff. Unfortunately, because it's a brand spanker, we're not allowed to test drive it because they have to keep the k's nice and low. But it'll still be good to have one there regardless.

I'll let everyone know what model will be appearing when we find out more info.

LMFAO!!!

Haven't heard from Greg on this thread for a bit. I hope i haven't pist him off by stealing his thunder when it came to asking to borrow an FG for a few hours. So, if you're reading this Greg.....sorry champ. Just thought it may have been easier for the missus to get hold of one seeing as though she works for em.

Oh great....now i feel terrible. Look at me, stealing peoples ideas. Next i'll have green interior lighting. Bulls&%t isn't it Clay. hahaha.

Nah i didn't mean to step on toes.....honest....

You arn't stepping on anyones toes mate.
Gregs just started a new job so he's a bit busy, and I think everything is sorted anyway. We have an FG, and snags, all we need are definite numbers so we know how much food to bring.
And if greg can get another FG then its even better!!

Go the interior lighting it wouldnt be the first. My mate saw it and now his VS ute has green neons and a green dome light. :
