Its now no longer my daily so even though Adelaide has been in absolutely ***** weather the past week, with the carport garage I have I am able to keep her pristine!!

Does anybody know the story behind the "Rare nesting Falcon" posted by FairmontGS.
All I know is that it was there more than thirty years ago. A picture of it was first published in 1986 on the back of the book "The History of Ford in Australia", written by Norm Darwin. How and when was it put there, where is it and is it still there? Anybody know!

This thread is not unlike last years (strange) 'wash your car for Frosty' thread.

Mine usually gets washed weekly, this week will be no different.

No point in me washing mine during the week, as my car is used as my daily and it is raining on and off so far this week, so car would only be dirty again by the weekend.

And like you, I'm glued to the TV all weekend, so no time to wash the car

Maybe I'll wash it Sunday arvo after Frosty takes the chequered flag, as my way of celebrating. May not be the best wash it will ever have had

Is good that Fox have the dedicated Bathurst channel this week - watched the highlights from the 1977 race - is always great to see the old classics..

But yes car will be ready, have friday off (wooo hoooo) so will give it a wash & detail.

We finally had a reprieve from the crappy weather we've been having (for now) so gave mine a bit of a clean, so it should at least be clean on the Falcon's final day.
