I was one of those people who admired your car Melz. I and many others can see the work you’ve put into it. I enjoy looking at cars that are a little different. Your car has character and that’s something that not all cars have.

Cheers, Danny

Casper: Yes you were right, my car got a lot of attention. But just 'cause you're right this time, doesn't mean i'm going to believe you again

Spoolman: Fuel economy was actually really good, consumes about the same as my EL.

Full Noise: Thanks mate, still not as clean as your cars though, might send you out with the chamois next time

It was a good day, but not as many vehicle's there as previous yr's, where the two XC Copra's were, it was nearly empty, I suspose the whether turned many off, I was a little worried we'd get a wet but when we left at 6 in the morning, but the rain held out, did anyone see the Black AU II XR8 ute with a list full off mod's(Herrod Stroker, etc) with only 1700klm, and it was for sale.

I believe that Melz's fuel economy would not have been much different to mine for the trip.

And for those who believe that the older cars cant cut it cruising the xb had no trouble cruising behind me (in the ba) at 100 or so on the way to and from Bendigo.

Its great to see the xb out and being used as it was intended.

PS Great photos everyone and im with jeff .... sunburnt!
