Assessor from Shannons paid me a visit this morning. I believe all of us will be sorted out today. Now just a matter of getting cars all repaired. Thanks Shannons Insurance. Your response to this situation has been great!! :
Good luck to Mick, Marty, Ron and Kev!!

the guy i spoke to mentioned your car & asked if it was from the same incident
i should be able to pick mine up monday arvo providing it all polishes out, hopefully they wont have to touch anything up, being a 3 layer pearl it is nearly impossible to match the colour without spraying the whole panel |

I was informed by Fawkner Smash Repairs that roof cannot be repaired and they are now replacing whole roof. This means another week delay. I am happy it is getting fixed and happier Shannons are looking after us, but not having my car for two weeks, has been torture.

Yes thats true Jason its torture buts its best to replace the roof and that requires a bit of work and time and should be a first class job that will show no signs of a repair. When i looked at it after the incident it was no doubt that the roof would not repair to a standard that it would not be detected, so you should be happy with the final job and replacing the roof can only be the best option because these cars are quality cars that the owners spend considerable time maintaing them to a show standard. Good luck mate

I got my car back today and I am so happy. Missed the boosted T!! Just need to get rear windscreen tinted to right level and all is well. I had a ball just driving it home, even if temporary clutch was slipping to hell!! To make my day now, just waiting for Textralia.
Thanks to Fawkner Body Repairs and Shannons Insurance!!!
