Blown
Cedric (after the almighty Nissan Cedric - bonus points if it's a girl)
Kombi
Dumper
Hooter
Poverty (that is what car ownership is all about. If female, her future partner(s) will discover the alternate meaning of the name)

Not meaning to be disrespectful here mate - just couldn't help but join in the fun.

Congrats - and for what my opinion is worth I think you should name your child with a normal, human name. ;)

Regardless, the decision is ultimately up to you and the wifey and my best wishes go out to you.

Boys - Cam, Con, Rod, Carroll (after either Carroll Smith or Carroll Shelby), Morgan, Edsel, Dino, (Alfa) Romeo

Girls - Lola, Holl(e)y, Mercedes, Chevron or Chevy (always leaking?), Bonny (Bonneville), Shelby, or maybe even Chaparral

Damn I missed Cooper!

You do realise that the Lotus Elise was named after Aretoli's (spelling?) neice "Elsie".

how bout you give them normal names, but the first name starting with G, and their middle name starting with T.

almost cheaper than the real thing.

Can't sell it on ebay tho.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned Marcos! M. Ambrose was named this by his father who supposedly "mispelt" Marcus on the birth paperwork. Marcos is a famous sportscar brand for those who don't know.

I named one of my daughters Liana a few years before the horrible Suzuki came out. It (the car) is supposed to mean Life In A New Age! Ghastly. Even my Liana who is only 9 reckons they look crap.

Not a bad idea. I think in the end we will go with a normal name but I was curious to see who could come up with something interesting & different.

That is one we've had on the list pretty much from day one. If Mark had his way, he'd actually add the "Ambrose" part aswell LOL. Thank god one of us is sane :

My three month old sons first name is Henry. He was not named after Henry Ford as it was my wife that liked the name. Only problem is our surname sort of sounds like Ford when you put Henry infront of it (Henry **rd).
