Thats a fair average per dart. Not sure what mine is but I wouldn't think its at 20. Maybe around 18.

I've never tried out for the state teams. I'm not as good as I have been. When I lived in Wollongong I played darts 6 days a week . Only ever had Wednesday nights off. But usually i'd head over to a mates place with a few beers and get stuck into a few games.

I'm like you. I love the game. Just need to get a board up at home for more practice.

Ten pin bowling was my forte. I remember winning the A grade doubles Central Coast championships. We were playing these two other guys and no ИИИИИ, both our first 5 frames were all strikes. That was something. Our opponents were dumbfounded and just looking at each other like " what the hell". My highest score was something over 250. Cant remember now. Those bowling at bateau bay bowling alley would have seen my name hanging from above a few lanes meaning I held the highest score for that lane for the alley's comps. Anyway, that was a long time ago now. If I bowl now I still have 130-140 in me, but thats about it.

Always played cricket/rugby/tennis when I was young. Played lower grades in club cricket and rugby.

My best effort was playing rugby for my battalion when I was doing my nashos. We lost to the Kiwi battalion in the Singapore Rugby Union grand final.

I had natural ability but was a lazy at training. Took me a while to figure out that natural ability alone doesn't cut it.

Spent many years (and still) working with sporting elites.

I 'spose at heart I'm a patheic wannabe...

Buying a 98' Kawasaki ZX9, and lapping Phillip Island track faster than the Australian Motorcycle News Test rider could do on the same bike.

In my early teens I won quite a few state titles at middle distance running, from 400, to 800, 1500m, and 3km and 5km on winter road races. 3 years in a row I won the 400 and 800m at both high school and club state titles, then won the national 1500m who I think Craig Mottram was a part of? Also got a place in a couple of triathlons, while fitting in footy, cricket and tennis around the running.

Then moved up to under 16's, had a 6 week break and couldnt be stuffed going back to it full time. Still keep active but these days i keep fit at work, need to keep the beer belly down!

My hole in one was on a short Part 3. Was around the 130. I remember the shot. 8 iron to the edge of the green which dropped down. The ball rolled onto the green and towards the hole. Didn't see it drop. Group in front who called us on, said the ball tracked towards the hole and was starting to slow before it dropped in. They said if the hole was cut a further 3 inces on, the ball wouldn't have made it. They said it also caught the outside of the cup. So it was all sheer luck. I'm a 27 handicapper, so i wouldn't have played the shot any differently
