Obviously the cops do a fantastic job. But there are cases where an eyebrow is raised. Thus there will always be negative posts about them. You just dont see many positive threads about em because when they get it right they are taken for granted I guess. Plus, this is a motoring enthusiasts forum, the majority of our dealings with the police would be from a negative viewpoint.

The police are money makers for the government, they are servents of the law. Which law they happen to police is questionalbe.
REDRUM - this is not a hate police thread (as far as I can see) Just a disapointment in the law enforcers. More accidents occure at 'uncontroled intersections' than speeding!

I stopped visiting a few GM related forums because the cop bashing (whingeing) was getting out of control. Mainly from pre pubescent teens on their P's. It's just too easy, especially behind an anonymous name. There are fools and tools in every job and there's always gonna be people who don't like being told what to do (Big brother etc etc.) Give 'em their own post and let 'em run riot. Anyone who's travelled a bit through Europe (U.K, FRA, DE) will know the cops there have considerably more respect than here. In saying that I mean they are simply left alone to do their job. And they're no different.

Thanks Mr EFXR
Thread closed, and rest assured, this is the last time we allow rampant meaningless cop bashing threads/post to continue.
