If u have live rear axle i recommend a eibach spring and koni shock combo. the spring height sits in between low and super low. gives enough clearance and rides nice for lowered car. handles awesome.

Well it must be my KYB's then becuase while I liked it at the start, and I can live with it,m passengers generally comment on its harshness even though th control is quite good.

The dampening on the shocks can play a part on ride quality. The koni adj at least have the adjustable setting to help with a bit of ride qual and handling. These are the next shocks I will be getting. The BOGE has been good, but I require something better now.

Its on super lows now so I think anything will make it smoother. I would also consider ditching the dark argents in favour of the p250 18's

Does this mean you need to go on a Diet ??

Me, brakes want doing (slight shudder under low/moderate application particularly at low speed)... last year put it back to stock height, shocks, trans service + Cooler, New Rad and new steering rack so not much left.

Get rid of the 18s and return to a smaller rim size
Replace all 4 springs and shocks and replace a few suspension bushes
Replace all 4 manual window winders and inner door handles ( Correct colour )
Reinstall my speakers into the rear parcel shelf properly
Install the matching rear seats i bought

Then basically drive the bloody thing till i can get rid of it

I have to concede I know bugger all about cars, so I'm just doing cosmetic things to my AU for the time being. Thinking about lowering it a bit and getting the Fairmont kit from Fibresports.

Oh, and wheels, I need to get wheels sometime soon.

Have had the AU sitting in the garage waiting for me to finish the EB and since it's nearly done have started on "Baby" to get it looking and going better than it has before.
Things to be done:-
Fix water leaking from pedal box permanately (remove dash and repair box support)
Fit AU2 Ghia leather interior
Fit 330mm front brake kit
Fit 328mm Terri rear vented brakes
Fit Koni Yellow shocks all round (looking for springs to use)
Replace clutch and recondition T5
Fit Crow cam, timing chain and Trickflow manifold

Will be starting a build thread soon.

New rims - DONE
Cut n polish - DONE
Brakes & Suspension - Seeing someone in two days, found some S2 brakes
S2/3 XR rear lip & side skirts - will be looking for closer to respray
Respray - Poison Ivy (that green colour that SS commos are)

Once I'm off the plates in 2013, that's when I'm looking at either a) Dart 347 stroker, or b) Coyote 5.0 conversion

Was dreaming about it but with how I've been saving it's so much more achievable gonna be epic

Hoping for new wheels soon, or at least to make these ones all the same colour
finally get it painted, ideally before AFD Adelaide in March
Install my new speakers in the parcel shelf.
upgrade my subs
Proper cat back, rather than my current one which is just a muffler cut out with a pipe in its place
Lowering = done on sssl rear and sl fronts
Wheels = all one colour now
Paint = goes in on the 20th
Speakers = installed
Subs = still need replacing
Exhaust = done with 2.5 cat back

So only one thing to go in that list

Also installed a tow bar the other day and got drilled and slotted front brakes with new pads for the front on the way

Yes indeed there's lots of goodies there, but they're all in my Money No Object column! LOL!

I'd take almost all of that if I had the coin, but I sadly do not!

Short shifter is installed. Now I need to try and find a decent gear knob for it. I've got a supercheap universal fit knob on at the minute and it's rubbish. I can't seem to find an knobs around that have the 12mm thread though. Might just drill and tap out the standard knob unless anyone know where I might find something.

Brakes also upgraded. I purchased the 330mm upgrade kit of Matt a Race Brakes Sydney. Looks so much better behind the 18's. Haven't given them a hard time yet, so I can't comment on the performance.

Most of what is on eBay are either universal fit, which after this one I won't do again, or are the old school mustang round ball type which don't really do it for me.

Just looked at autotechnica. There are some nice designs there, but there isn't any info on them and the look like they are also universal fit. Do you know where you can buy these retails, as the website looks like it's only for wholesale customers.
