thanks john! the car takes forever to warm up i must say LOL, as i drove it all the way to hoppers, and the needle was just touching the N , hes going to look into getting a form of cold air intake now which should be good. hes extremely proud as his blood n sweat went into this, and no one had faith in him hehe, ill have to get him to come out on a e series cruise, perhaps even the e series and au cruise for u's to see in person.

wow, when i saw the thread title, i was like ah here we go gonna look crap....but damn it looks VERY good... seems to go with the ED very nicely....
as for the EF XR..... i reckon it would look 100 times better, and suit heaps better, if it had the EL XR nose...... |

looks good, ive seen this done to many cars and not just fords either, ive seen a few geminis, a nissan 300zx, the odd commadore and recently an AU. But that does really suit an ED, however it will always look best on an XC Falcon, heres my dads

The first one of these bonnets i saw was a white EA wagon that was owned by a ford wrecker in newcastle and it was back in 2002 that i saw it.
I asked him whether he was selling them and he said no way. The one on the ED in this thread looks awesome as well. Job well done
