What does that have to do with the steering wheel, not to mention how dangerous that sounds. I hate how it looks and feels. I don't eat in my cars anyway they may get crumbs. I can use my elbow to change gears but that is not needed often.

Do they still offer the chunky MOMO steering wheel on the FPV's?

The falcon/territory should have been upwards of 30, even now with the territory ball joint problem causing accidents and real damage they are still only replacing a poorly designed part with a new one of the same design rather than spend the $1500 odd on fixing it for good by putting in the SY2 setup and they wonder why sales have dropped 400%.

That hat was given to me by the dealer. Dealer had them made. I drive an SSV, it does have a Chev motor in it, hence the connection.

I, however, DO NOT HAVE CHEV BADGES ON MY UTE.

Atleast you admit to it. Have had the XR8 up to 200 on a few occassions. Would have gone further, but ran out of race track.

I was under the impression that Ford had a large enough stake in Mazda for it to be the controlling shareholder. Japanese corporate law does not require 50+% to be a controlling interest.

Thats what it said when Ford sold a fair chunk of their stake earlier this year, that they now no longer have a controlling stake.

But i could be wrong.

Under Japanese law, 33% stake gave Ford a controlling interest.
They have now sold most of that interest to Japanese investment banks.

Ford sold Volvo outright
Ford sold Aston Martin outright
Ford only have around 13% stake on mazda.

These brands all gone in the last 4 years:
Aston martin
Jaguar
Land Rover
Volvo
Mercury.

Now there's only Ford, Lincoln and a small interest in Mazda
Oh, and they also own South American 4x4 brand, Troller.

Well looking at the aliances of car companies around the world they would be silly not too. Also Ford has transformed so that would make Mazda much more happy to work with them.

Recalls are a necessity. WIthout them, the people that fork out money to drive in the vehicle could be seriously injured.

It's a responsible thing to do.

How many people here make a mistake and actually own up?

I stand corrected. However it is still from the Chevrolet brand. I don't just hate Chev badges, I pretty much hate all badges. The irony is that Holden owners don't realise that Chevrolet is actually the brand that is failing. Holden seem to be superior. (My own opinion).

Even the Chassis out of a Holden made it in to a Camaro.

I will go a little further to say that if a Ford dealer suspects a customer is Holden orienated, He will bend over backwards to sell that customer a Ford. And the same goes for Holden dealers if they get Ford based customer. This has been my experience in the past. I am a Ford fan, but I will not buy one just for the hell of it.
