i know i'm whinging but have to vent it somewhere otherwise it could turn into violence and get ugly. just went down and had a look at it closely it is a totally different colour, it is missing the depth and gloss. it's envy and the new colour is really light, doesnt have the depth that the rest of the car has. mega ****ed off it's going to be a to sell now.

If I ever caught someone in the act of defacing my car/property, I'd somehow :jab: pin them down and call the cops, telling them that I shot the culprit. That way they'd be there in a flash. Might be in the $h!t for lying, but'd be worth it!

There certainly is a sense of false bravado amongst these losers that perpetrate this crimes of jealousy. The problem is the judiciary couldn't care less and never takes these matters seriously; effectively green lighting the act of vandalism with impunity. Time to get new magistrates methinks.

Mayor Guiliani was right with his police chiefs, it is the broken window theory. If you crack down on the petty crime then often you will inadvertantly affect the harder crimes for example; arresting some low life who vandalises cars may stop him assaulting an old lady for her purse etc. Basically, our state governments have failed us in their application of party friendly magistrates and the reluctance of their police forces to act on the petty crimes. If you find someone defacing your car, call out to them, give chase then have your fun. When questioned it was all self defense. You ran to your car and they attacked you.

With my hardtop it dosen't get left any where for this to happen. But I have a ba xr6 and a nice 80 series cruiser which do. I just hope if some @rsewipe tries to key it, I see it because trust me it will be the last one he/she will ever do, unless they do it out of a wheelchair. One afternoon I'd just finish detailing the cruiser, then I drove down to the shops to grab some food items. When I returned some threw a maccas burger at it and it slid down one side of the car. I dove around for almost an hour looking for anybody walking with maccas food, but lucky for them I couldn't find them. Because they would have finished the burger that they threw at my car and had a couple of knuckles in there as well. : :togo:

I will be one of the few to admit, when I was 15-16 (now 22) I did those pathetic things with my friends (though only mild compared to whats been mentioned) alot of it stems from trying to be that hero and impress your mates, at that age there is not really much else you know to do that will impress so you go out and be that little . You fail to understand what the innocent party goes through to get what they have, wether it be the nice car or house so when you do the stupid things it really doesnt go through your mind. these are obvioulsy no excuses but just an idea from my point of view. As the years roll on you realise how stupid your actions have been and also realise if you want to impress, the true man acts with respect, he must be successful in his work, hold down a good relationship, be good to his family etc etc. Anyone one who is older and still does the stupid crap has serious problems and probably needs good mental therapy as far as I'm concerned

Probably should get some sniper friends of yours to watch out for the car and give headshots to anyone that's try to damage it.

I was in Surfers many years ago and came back to my car to discover someone dirty rotten #@$% had used the bonnet roof and boot to practice their tap dancing.
I could've killed the little %^$#* if I had caught em.
