The chop looks awkward, approaching ugly, ruined the lines of the FG.
No I wouldn't get FG coupe, I have driven a Monaro and while it was great fun it just isn't practical enough for me. I'd rather the 4 doors of the sedan.
I don't think Ford would get a big enough market to justify the costs of building it.
No matter how many here say they would, when it comes to the crunch not many would.

remember there is always a difference between a proper coupe and a 2 door sedan.

This one to me does justice to the FG's lines.

Coupes are too impracticable for most people in this market, Holden proved that.

I often wonder where all these "buyers" go when car companies bring out these "sure things"??

As above, and would also ( being kid + missus free ) give my left testie....

Not a fan of the GS either, but as a coupe if they could get a mix between the two rear side lights and in a shorter chassis with a big bulge hidding a Kenne Bell,
well Merry Christmas to "ME"

PS, nice work on the photoshop guys :sm_headba

Must be about the 50th time someone has photoshopped a 2 door Falcon, followed by about 100 posts saying Ford should build it.

Time to face reality people, as much as people want them to FoA will NEVER, EVER build a 2 door Falcon again. Coupes do not sell in Australia past the first couple of months, never in enough volumes to justify their investments. Holden proved that with the Monaro, after Ford proved it back in the 70's with the XA-XC coupes. Ford do not have cash to waste in products that would lose them money.

To get the XA Coupe into production some of the motorsport mad executives fudged the figures on how many coupes they thought they could sell because they knew it would never make production if the real projected sales figures got out, they just wanted it for racing. The real figures were justified when coupe numbers bombed.

Rant over.

Would definatly buy one as long as they didn't price it stupidly - the bad resale puts me off buying a new Ford at the moment but in 2 door it would hold its value so much better.

Take one in black or a blueprint type colour.

This is a tricky one, Yes, If i could afford it, and Ford were building it, I would buy a GS Coupe over a sedan, but that said, I don't think Ford should build a Coupe variant of the Falcon, They are struggling to sell enough of the Falcons they have as it is, so the reality is, it just will not happen. As for the late model Monaros, yes they were a substantial Financial loss for GMH, they may have been popular down at the pub, but GMH are still paying for it (along with their other failed experiments like Adventra, Crewman, One tonner etc).

For that money I would buy and XA coupe in the best condition I can get.

But I really like this chop.
If I was going to buy it I would want to see a few different angles though that look as good as this one

pretty as it is it won't happen, and if it did I would be waiting until they become affordable for me before I purchase, which may be never, but thats ok I keep driving the 4 door sedans around no shame in that

I love it, I'd love one and if it had of been released a year ago I would have one in my garage right now.

A coupe for me can't be anymore than a toy for the next few years and given this would be priced at $60-$70k, it wouldn't be a toy I could splurge on. S/C 4D on the otherhand.....

Not me..

One of my mates had a Monaro for a few years and it was a useless bucket of s*&# for 4 people.. Terrible car to get in and out of with those big long doors!!

Big no from me!

Thumbs up chop and crop

I like the look of the the fg utes so thought it would be a challenge to play around with the styling. Also converting the gs into a coupe. Let me know what you think.

This was all done pixel by pixel on paint. No photoshop tools uesed. Just to make it interesting.

Too thick of a black stripe. I think it would look better without stripes. Otherwise it aint too bad.
