I very casually follow Melbourne, but I have had a soft spot for South Sydney because they have been so terrible for years. Glad to see them start the year better than the past few. I would like to see them win a final this year. That would get the club a little more excited.

Despite the thread title being misleading (explain how Rugby League could even be considered "footy"), The Raiders and Storm - one for where I live, and one for where I was born.

I live in NSW. In NSW footy is rugby leage. I guess the same as footy in Vic is AFL.
Hence the Footy Show in NSW is league and the Footy Show in Vic is AFL.

Why, what do you consider footy to be?

And for someone that does not consider rugby league to be footy it is funny that you support 2 teams.

I'm going to be different and say the Sharks.

If they just got rid of Kimmorely... they would have a decent team.

Never like Kimmorely... disliked him from the moment he started playing.

Go the Broncos!
Only 19 years in the comp and they've been premiers 6 times!

As has been mentioned I also like to see the Cowboys and Titans do well.

I have a look how the stomers are doing, but than again I've lost interest in all the footy codes.

Roll out the barrel...

Well considering I lived in Belmore for a long time, I'm a Sharks supporter.

I don't mind Kimmorley, its the guy (Chris Anderson) who put him there in the first place and went on to destroy a perfectly good team that annoys me... and I hope the Roosters never win another game while he's there.

Cowboys. Consider myself a real supporter, have supported them since their inception, and stuck with them through the tough times.

Yeah, its rewarding to see your team build from the start. Lost count of the number of people I know who support a team simply cos they've so many premierships won. Still waiting for the Sharks to have there day. If they ever get there :hihi:

PARRA. We live in hope that one day we may win another competition.
The last time we did I was in Munich visiting rellos, managing to get to the Octoberfest, but could not celebrate with a beer as I was only 13. I told the boss in 09 if Parra won I will go on long service immediatly as I would be going on a bender. Lucky for me I still have just shy of 20 weeks leave up my sleave. Also have been a Season ticket holder since 1995. Bay 66 our bay loves sleadging the opposition, but all in good fun of course. Always happy to have drink with opponent supporters after the game.
