ok ford US marketing and research, heres some free tips:
go to toyota, hire their marketing and research team then fire yourselves. I cant believe they keep hanging off crappy styling. its not going to get better if you change its name!!!

I drove a taurus in 2002 in the USA, great midsize car. Lots of room and had a fair chunk of power too. Was nowhere near as ugly as that thing they brought to OZ in the late 90's, looked more like a focus on steroids. They'll probably find a market here, although the mid size market has been fed a staple diet of camry and 626 so I'm guessing that the chinese and indians won't change, resulting in lower sales.

we're talking about this one right?
its just my opinion but it looks as interesting as an older camry with chrome. but i guess it is a mid priced conservative oldies car. I could just never understand why even the budget and mid range cars in the US are so boring. Is it to make their performance cars look better by comparison? time to move up to the next level or they will always be behind. I guarantee the new camry will wip its ***, its also entered in the nascar series which helps, i was suprised to hear that.

Amazingly the Taurus was once the highest selling passenger car in the US, for quite a number of years. How did they manage to screw it up so bad they eventually had to axe it? |
