Default Re: Funny Hospital Stay's

Made a trainee doc go weak at the knees and nearly spew in the ER. I crashed my bike into a pole and peeled back the skin on my right index finger like a banana. Two young trainee doctors were looking after me under supervision. One of them brings in a set of snips to cut my ring off so he could start cleaning me up. Stuff that, I proceeded to fold my skin back into something resembling a finger and twist my ring off working the skin under the ring as I went. The guy with the snips takes off out the room in a rush. I look at the remaining doctor and she says, he needs some fresh air. Pretty weak stomach for a wanna be doctor.

I was in hospital about 7 years ago for respiratory issues. Sharing a ward with 4 other elderly patients is interesting. It gets more interesting when the portable commode has to be wheeled in, and the old boys have to verbally describe what they are doing when the nurse tries to help them. And then the grunting and heaving noises begin..... all behind a curtain mind you, but they may as well be on parade coz we got the rolling commentary with 5.1 dolby surround sound effects for anyone not know what was going on.
