Incredible stuff.
There's just so much good stuff to be seen.

To my embarrassment though, I've been to the War Memorial so many times, but I've never set foot on the bridge of the Brisbane! I'd see the outside of it every time, but didn't even realise you could get inside.

One of my students at school this week told me about it!

Next time. That would be in about 6 months I'd reckon.

Yeah you do have to explore the place pretty well to find it. I must admit I did find it by accident.

They have LCD screens where the windows are depicting one of it's support missions off Kuwait in the Gulf War. Very cool.

It will cost me less to go to Canberra return than I pay for the train to get from Chatswood to the Airport here in Sydney... so at that rate I could always come back for more another time.

I get bored with sightseeing quickly, but would like to add this place to my list of places I visited. And of course meet more Ford owners! I've been really bored here so far.

thanks!

Dam, did not realise your trip was this weekend. I am on call for work this week being pre budget, otherwise I would have been fine to take you on a tour of Canberra.

Being on call mean with a very hight likelihood of being called in means I cannot make a commitment.

I hope there are some Canberra folk who can take you o a tour, you might want to put a copy of this in the FPV & XR owners of Canberra forum as that would have the highest concentration of Canberra people who will see your coming to visit.

I will be visiting CBR again... but only for about an hour... decided to book a flight to Sydney from Melbourne via Canberra for the sake of having visited another airport and trying another aircraft.

Fun!
