I think I would run the risk of losing a vital part of my anatomy if I said yes I'll come along ona cruise on mothers day... As much as I'd like to come along, I doubt I'll be able to make it, not just for fear of losing part of my anatomy, but also because my car is still not ready to cruise in - starting to wonder if it will be before I turn 30, each time I fix something, something else screws up... :( There is also the small matter of us being in the middle of moving house :(

Have fun people, I might be able to turn up at the meeting place and take some photos and perhaps even some video of everyone leaving, like I did last time, but I can't promise anything at this stage.

Count me in. I will beg and scrounge to get the petrol money for the cruise.
Is it ok if my bro comes along, he has a R33 skyline and has just put on new suspension and tyres and wants to test them out. it will give you guys something to try and beat.

Wouldn't most serious and semi-serious skyline drivers have autos, so it stays on boost?

I guess the sprint to 60km/h or 100km/h would depend also on who was willing to launch at high revs and therefore put a fair bit of strain on their drivetrain, not to mention the obvious tyre wear. Obviously, if a skyline was launched already on boost, and the revs didn't drop low enough to cause boost to drop too much, we'd all be toast. However, if they have to wait for the boost to build up, we'd all have a chance - even me

Good to see there will be a decent turn out for this one, do we need a photographer for the meet at the start of the cruise?

woop woop woop woop bout bloody time!!!!

Cruise is looking absolutely FANTABULOUS!!!!!!!! Will be good to have so many Foci there!!

Other makes are more than welcome, however please let it be known that regardless of make, we do not support any form of street racing or dragging. Has to be said, as always. We just had issues the last time an unknown non-member came along in a non-Ford. As long as everyone is on their best behaviour, all is good. Nuff said.

I'll confirm that the main meet-point be in Bayswater at 10am as previously stated. All those who are closer to Bayswater (final location to be advised shortly) are welcome to meet us there. Gives us time for a good day and a return that's not too late so we can all still have dinner with Mum (or someone's Mum en masse if we all drop by)

I think a meeting for those closer to the city would be better somewhere around the beginning of the Eastern Fwy near Collingwood as it's a dead easy drive to Bayswater (other end of the Eastern and a little bit South!!) and we can meet around 9am for that somewhere. That saves the complexity of us going on a pre-cruise and I believe Carlton is more central to everyone. Perhaps in the Swimming Pool carpark on Alexandra Pde just before the start of the Eastern would be a good central point at 9am?

All those in favour please say "I" and please Post Where you'll be meeting to make it easier for us to account for everyone!!

Will PM final details to everyone, with times and address of meeting points on the two locations hopefully tonight and ask that you all simply reply here with "Carlton" or "Bayswater" in general so we can all see who's coming.

Pencil me in to say "G'day" to everyone at the Carlton meeting point and take some pictures and video, but I won't be coming on the cruise itself.

So when you're sending out PMs Zetec, don't forget to send me one, ok?

Hi gang,

Sorry it's so late, I'm incredibly busy and will have a surprise WELL worth the wait this Sunday that nobody is expecting... Is it a Turbo? Is it a Plane? Who knows

Meeting details as follows:

8:45am - Carlton

Meeting in Carlton at 8:45am roughly (details in PM already sent). Ultimately we will leave around 9:15am.

We will then leave down the Eastern Fwy to Bayswater, expecting to arrive around 9:45am. Remember we're in convoy, no prizes for heroes, just a chilled Saturday morning drive. The best part is in the mountains so just admire the cars and have fun!!

9:45am - Bayswater

We will meet in Bayswater at the place specified in the PM. I haven't been there before, but we'll find each other!!!

Please try to be there by about 9:30am if you're meeting there first so we can all turn up, introduce and then get going through the Yarra Valley to Healesville and then thru to the Black Spur.

We'll stop at Marysville for lunch and then from there either head back the same way or take suggestions!!

Will be a fantastic drive. Just come with a full tank (we'll be doing a total of 250km most probably from the city return, or less if you start and finish at Bayswater.) and an appetite for some great enjoyable driving!!!

My mobile number has been sent in the PM if anyone has any problems, or can't make it. PLEASE let us know. Don't be afraid to call for info or directions, I'm a very friendly person! I will also be on here on the morning of the cruise to check all is go for everyone until the last minute!!

Don't hesitate to bring your CB handheld radio. I'm going to Dick Smith tomorrow to buy their $19.95 special which should do the job! We'll decide on a channel on the day. It's not necessary, but can be interesting! Just remember that using a hand-held object whilst driving can be a distraction so we'll mainly use it if lost, however the chatter can get quite amusing!! We will decide on a channel on the day for security purposes.

Can't wait to see you all there, please invite any club mates who you are in contact with, any mates who own Eurofords, bring mates in your own car or even mates who want to tag along. We like to stay as a group, so we'll follow a safe, reasonable distance from one another and just have an all-out awesome day!

Please note, any member caught acting stupidly, speeding, driving in a manner deemed unsafe will be not welcome on future cruises, but we are all a bunch of level headed members, we're hardly the VL Commodore club... so let's just enjoy!!!!!

Yours in Eurofords,
Matt
