Sounds great that you can get so much of a difference from simply swapping a pod. Did you take a "before" dyno run showing tractive effort? Because it would be great to see the "after" dyno results and compare the differences.

Seemingly having a larger surface pod filter benefits your car being a 6 cylinder, would there be advantages for the v8 windsors then?

Anyway, it's good to know that people get satisfaction from modifying their cars, no matter what the mod is. I think I'd display a similar reaction if I slotted a 514 between the rails, but good on you for your enthusiasm. PS, I'm not a fan of that flange diameter. Nor the length. |

Mmmmmmmmmm Im almost convinced to go ahead with the pod filter rather than a K&N or BMC filter for the standard air box.

If your car responds well to small modifications like that maybe you should try some hardcore stuff it'll run 12's easy NA.
Nah kidding, I reckon the difference you feel is in throttle response. Sundeep |

it has a bit better response and looks way better than that black of a pipe that closes round to about 1 1/2"

I'd change the spark plugs, they can give good power increases as well.

Flange leads are the best brand. They're large bore, pink coloured. Bursons sell them.

Some of them last for a lot more kms than lesser brands. There's a niche brand, I've forgotten their name but the code number for the leads is BU77-53CK5. They come with extra hardy plug sockets. The leads are brown.
