thats wicked..... if only i had a 6 figure car to thrash around. Was also waiting for him to take out the camera man.
If you got the money, the phrase "drive it like you stole it" should always apply... especially when u can just trade it up for the new model in 6 months. |

who cares if he is on a public road? theres no one there to hit is there(when he is actually flooring it)? and the car has a rev limiter, no way it would break....
Looks like a fast drift, and is, however to the driver, just like in tennis, the ball becomes slow after a while, and your reflexes ramp up to the plate. Good driving I say. If i was there I would be on the inside of the corner however...... |

I cant believe you guys are having a sook, thats awesome. And it doesn't look "that" public anyway. And he has a bit a skill to drift it a bit through those corners at those speeds. Id be doing the same if I could afford it. If it was a GT everyone would be creaming themselves over it. :

i didn't think it looked very public.....if i had a private little burnout pad and windy road and the money to smash an m5 i most certainly would...if that was a public road they are possible not the smartest guys...but i don't think we are here to voice opinions on how right or wrong it is...we are supposed to be enjoing a spectacle of a crazy driver in a crazy car

If i had such driving skills, i'd be going nuts when the road is empty. Late night stroll. But the guy driving it and the guys watching ever so closely have bloody huge balls do something like that. The one when he comes from the left and you can hear it screaching and then turns into a slide was awsome. I wish i was capable of doing something so huge.

Fully respect the amazing skill in that vid - he's just a bigger ****er than Skaife for doing something that stupid. Had that vid been on a racetrack we'd all be loving it. For all those lame arsed "looks like a private rd"... I swear officer, I was only a little bit over. Bloody idiot.

Last time I checked private roads didn't have street signs, marker posts or traffic on them.
And last time I checked, powerslides aren't drifting. Why does everyone have to crap on about drifting everytime a car gets slightly sideways? Quote:

More dollars than sense.
Gotta love the internet, especially when companies like BMW get a car that has copped a caining and some tool has filmed its willful destruction. Then they try to go in for warranty and BMW says "yeah mate, we'll fix it under warranty for sure". It's a high performance car for sure, but even formula 1 cars aren't made for burnouts, and need alot of airflow over the radiators at high rpm to avoid cooking the engine. Reminds me of a certain bloke who borrowed his mates xr8 ute.

Great, vid, great car, and from what I can see, great driver. He might be tooling around, but i sure as **** couldn't tool around like that on such a narrow road without running off or hitting something.
Dunno about the photographer though - methinks a case of more guts than brains. Stuffed if I'd be standing that close to the action. |
