24,990 Pounds is nearly $53K add taxes, import costs, compliance costs. If Ford were to bring it here it would need to be $65-$75K. No-one would pay that for a Focus when they can by an FPV that will absolutly embarress a Focus RS in the performance stakes for less.

Just remember, if the XR5 was converted using UK RRP it would be well over 40 also. I would imagine price of the RS if it ever made it here, would be closer to 46-48 before onroads.....

In motor mag it says this is the fastest ford car ever around fords test track faster even than the gt supercar.
 : that is amazing.I am sure the track could have been suited to the focus but wow. |

IMO they should bring it here to Australia, everyone these days seems to be into the small cars/hot hatches over the V8s etc.

I would dearly love one of thes and would buy one in a shot.................but I don't think it will ever come to Australia. So you just keep teasing me with something I can't have!!! And although I've contemplated it, I don't think I could now ever buy an XR5 , knowing that there is a far more evolved beast out there. This car is so good it hurts  :
