Some weird lists ive read.. this is my opinion below

1. Toyota aurion
2. BA/BF GT
3. BA/BF XR6/8
4. EL XR8
5. FG G6ET

Does noone consider interiors as part of the looks as well? The older cars have terrible interiors. Most of the older cars are big boxes as well.. massive gaps between panels etc.

do you think so Hulk? im the opposite, i reckon some of the old cars they got the interiors looking grouse(perhaps a bit spartan , but grouse, maybe im a bit biased because ive riden in most of the oldies and driven some of them, including some pretty cool yank tanks, most late model cars have zero style compared to some of the oldies imo.

With all due respect, the thread is titled "What are the five best-looking Australian cars ever?" not "Which Australian car had the nicest interior?"

I don't understand why people specify that it must be a particular spec level? Stripes & wheels don't make the car.

Also, are we talking about any car BUILT in Australia? Or does it have to be a unique Australian design?

Any how, my list:
  1. HK Monaro. Yes, I'd bat for the other team for one of those.
  2. CL Charger. (as above.)
  3. RV1 Valiant. (Well it was assembled here.)
  4. TC Cortina
  5. Landau

I didn't see anything specifically in the thread about PRODUCTION cars .. So I think a lot of the picks the NGV had in their "Shifting Gears" display would be good candidates:

The new cars look far more aggressive than the older cars. I think my aurion looks more aggressive than my mint bf2 xr6t
