so ignoring where you are going to instead focus on making sure that you're capturing what you want to see isn't dangerous? riiiiiiiiiight.

There's a tosser in a red VP that comes into work everyweek, lights up the rears on the forecourt and then onto the main road everytime.
Last week I got out the videophone and started recording... no burnouts, not even a tyre squeek, musta seen me. :(

on the way to the drifts a few weeks ago i was going up marmion and was behind a slow hatchback. i had a camry next to me in the right lane and there was a new WRX behind it, some bloke with his girlfriend trying to show off on a nice day.

the camry turns right and the road is clear so i indicate check my mirrors and start changing lanes, as i am about half way between lanes the subi accelerates right up my ***. what do i do, i'm going too fast to turn into the left lane behind the hatchback and too slow to pull infront of the subi. decided to get into my lane like i had signalled before and gunned it clear of him tailgating me then slowed back down abit. this bozo jumps infront of the hatchback and guns it up next to me. theres a 4WD infront of him and we are closing fast and he goes to cut me off just as i had done to him.

THEN! the 4WD slammed his brakes on and the WRX dropped back along way and gave up.

sure i made a misjudgement of what he was going to do but i clearly signalled and started moving when there was adequite space and i didn't tail gate this guy or try run him off the road.

i hate it how people have something to prove everytime they sit behind the wheel.

exactly right mate... you have to experience it to believe it...
was out at warragamba for those of you in sydney, just minding my own business doing my job... delivering magazines to newsagents and servos...
he came flying around the roundabout just after me, and overtook me on a 2 lane bridge, after sitting up my ***...
so i highbeamed him... he then took it upon himself to think he was the law and swerved to block the road... opened his door cursing and saluting me...
i drove off the side of the road to get around him, im in my rodeo btw...
then continued up the hill and around the bend...
he followed me up, right up my ***, flashing me and beeping his nut off... whilst trying to pull me over... his mate had a bgger mouth than him, and it was as if i was in the wrong...
they then pulled in front of me, coming to a complete stop, while i was trying to make a way around...
was only saved by another car coming up the hill...
the way this guy was driving, it was probably stolen... as they were both of middle eastern descent... and about 30 seconds later, a falcoon with little lights on the roof came tearing up the hill... i assume they were after these two c***s... so yeah, one way to learn your lesson... i certainly could have been in hospital, after trying my best though to beat the s**t out of them myself... still dont know why i didnt run them off the road, after all i had a bullbar and steel tray on the back... but that would have caused a few more cars coming i think...

NB - If I read this right - the bloke overtook, yes like an idiot etc and so on . .

But then you went past him and got in front again. It doesn't matter how, but you did. 'Why' I can understand you annoyance, but gee . . .

THEN he's back on your tail - and your both back at square one, yes?

Round and round and round it goes. . .

NB - ramming anyone off the road is not a good idea, okay - nice to imagine - being a crank human, but not to do. Much legal danger here.

My advice with road rage is you should always assume its your unlucky day when the offender is a psycho with a gun. You can't predict people. Resist the temptation to wind them up - just get out of their sights as soon as you can. Remember its their problem, let them live with their own vile personality, don't share it with them. You are a normal person enjoying motoring in your Ford. Keep it that way.

Appart from 1 or 2 early posts that made sense its good to see the last 3 above finally sum it up correctly. Why make something out of nothing? Either you will get your brains turned to pulp or stuff your life by doing it to someone else. Let it go and let them go. As new2ford says why share their problems?!! Let em go down the pub and learn their lesson.

I don't know why people just don't ignore anyone who try anything on them when driving. The other night i was following my mum and her friend home when a VR Commodore started filling my mirrors left and right. As i was moving across the road to avoid the big dips he came along side and past me. It's a 60 zone but he was doing 80. As he past he slowed and drive right door to door with my friend infront very close. Still keep the bloody pressure down as i sat there he pulled off, We meet again at the light. He revs it up before he takes off. I ignore him and he goes away. Could have been easy of me to react to him being a fool egging me on but i had better things to do. People with big egos take off fast when you ignore them.

for the mob phone freaks out there try this little test, next time you speak on phone whilst driving on hiway, after call try and remember what you saw around you and passing you either direction, i bet you cant remember much at all, this is why i stopped using the mob while driving.

The only way to avoid road rage is to not drive, because no matter what you do, some ********* will always crack the ****s. It's just people.

End of story.
