Anyone remember the cordial drink which came in a clear plastic container that was shaped like a hand grenade? Had a 'pin' on it that you bit off to open it up and drink through.

Our primary school was just across the road from the shop, which we were allowed to go to, and that was a lunch time favourite.

I do remember them.
But I was a Cottees Lime cordial kid, which I see is still available. Wonder if it still has the same taste? If the cordial hasn't changed, my taste likely has.

Those bad boys were worth 20c refund in SA, and this was the days where 20-cents mixed lollies came in a paper bag that was half full, whereas now it would be 2 or 3 lollies in your hand. Most lollies were 1c each, some were 2 for 1c, and was only Cobbers that some shops would charge you 2c (but they were worth it and eaten last).

In keeping with the snack food theme - Barbeque CC's. I have fond memories of the old man grabbing a packet for me after footy training back in the 80's. I'm sure they were still around in the 90's but I haven't seen them for a long time.

Locally produced Dr Pepper (with sugar, not corn syrup). I guess Aussies just couldn't cop the taste of it so it didn't last very long on our shelves but I loved it from the first time I ever drank one. At least I can still get the seppo version, albeit it at ludicrous prices.

Ozram , Mazda , Philips etc filament light bulbs ..At least they were cheap compared to the new ones .

Solid wooden head or similar laminated wooden head golf clubs.. Just don't see them anywhere unless it's for display purposes .. Jack Nicklaus won most of his 18 majors with such clubs and I wonder what he at 82 years old would think of huge technology change seeing wooden clubs that have existed for the mast majority of the ancient game's history .

Slightly off topic but at Ratho Farm at Bothwell here in Tasmania which is actually the oldest golf course in the world outside of Scotland and turns 200 years old this year (est. 1822) celebrate regular events that only wooden head/hickory shaft clubs can be used .. Definitely on my bucket list to one day have a game there.

I'm pretty sure my sister, who lives in Craigieburn, gets icecreams delivered by them.

What about a mixed order from the f&c shop? Once a week my mum used to order two minimum mixed with sauce for my sister and I and bring it to school for us.

Don't think I've heard of the mixed order being available for years.

I went looking for an image of a Snip but only found a facebook page talking about the Swing/Snip. It was a frozen choc milk same shape as sunnyboy and razz.
Never heard of Swing so probably different states?
Glug is vaguely familiar
