Thanks people.

:

This car is good for a comfortable ride. Hope to keep it until I finish Uni, which is a while away (5 years or so).

If it can last that long, i'll be pretty happy.

After uni, FPV! - F6 if they are still around then.

I am getting LPG installed this Friday. Does anyone know if it will fit with the current extractors. I remember reading that someone had a similar problem.

My first ride was an '84 vk commodore, trust me the au will see you through uni mate, I remember when Mr Hardware got his and we all paid him out, god what a surprise I got when I finally drove the thing!

Even more so when I bought my ghia!

Congrats on the car, welcome to the club.

nice pick up for a first car, my first car was a clapped out 65 toyota, the box went before i got 3 kay's up the road..
Cheers. *fingers crossed* Looks pretty good now though. Hard to imagine anything popping up there.

Only 3km? Did you buy a different car after that lol.

I always thought it was normal to have a crappy first car. Apparently having an AU is good now. Yay! So i'm grateful. :

Still, having a car is good. No more public transport . Or getting my mates to drive me around. Although most of them have jap cars, which are prettyyyyyy fast, but not safe :

I am pretty speed hungry at the moment. I already want another car

Great first car mate, and it has a sat nav!! Hope you enjoy it. Why don't you bring it along on the Daylesford cruise on July 11?

because its just fresh rego plates missing badges, got a grey airbarg (should be black) they are a few signs of what looks like a repairable write off. If it is just make sure it has been fixed properly so you know you a driving a safe car.
Mine has an off-black cover and I checked with two different Ford parts places to see if there is a black one and they said there has never been a factory black air bag cover.

Has anyone got a full black one on their car???

My airbag is really what you described as off-black as well. During a normal sunny day, it doesn't look grey.

Here's two photos I took of my original colour, then the black-painted version about half an hour later. Thought you'd be interested to see:
