The only car i've ever owned that wasn't a V8 was a Territory Ghia, and they were all my dailys, all 6 of them. XD 351, EB 5.0, ED 5.0, EL XR8, NL 5.0 and 2 BA XR8's.

Wow.... I didn't realise that there were so many V8 daily drivers. I thought that most people had them as weekend toys.
I drive my XR8 everyday, and love it. Am tossing up if my next car is another V8 or a Turbo 6. |

Yep BA11 GT man. about $120 a week to and from work. Why would you want a V8 and not drive it every day?

Unfortunately the XR8 ute isn't the daily drive. Have company Hilux that covers 70,000 km's year. But on a Sunday morning I do take my baby out to bring that smile on my face. Do drive it around town when doing other stuff as well when I don't need the Hilux. Not sure what I am going to do if I get the Ranger in March though...

Yep, AU III XR8 manual for daily duties, still can't get enough of it after 12 plus mths owning it..
Then for a slight change of scene and sound, my manual XY GT for the weekends. Before the AU XR8 I had my BF2 GT-P as my daily. Only thing with that is you had to watch where you parked it.

Yep - my BA XT 3V is my only car so it's my only drive. 350 - 400kms per week. It sucks bbq gas (actually it injects it) so the fuel bill isn't a problem, not that I couldn't afford to run it on petrol anyway.
Had a V8 daily for the last 8 and a half years, the BA for 5.5 years (and travelled 117000kms) and a V8 EF Gli for the 3 years before that. And 5 years before my EF I had a 302 powered XA coupe as a daily for the first 18 months of my driving career (had a 4.1 powered XC and an EA between the coupe and the EF).

BF XR8 as my daily. Carries kids, does around town and highway, and does track work. Also my ongoing project.
It is duel fuel, which keeps the fuel costs down to respectable levels as it doesn't do great things running on petrol.

I alternate days between my 2001 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor and my 1995 Mustang GTS coupe.
Today is a Crown Vic day.

yes, 2004 BA XR8, about 420ks a week. I did look at something smaller, but by the time you pay $80-$100 every week for the car, and then the $40 or so for fuel, it would cost me more to run than the ute.

Depends If I have just washed and polished and waxed the car up after spending so many hours removing the tar and tree sap.. I night park it up for a day or 2... Otherwise it's driven fairly regularly. A full tank of fuel might get.a week or week and a half.. Depends on how I've been driving it... Bet when ever there's the slightest road trip I'm in the yella one... Actually my old Toyota 4runner takes me to work just as many times as the GTp does.
But when I take the boat up the dam for fishing the car stays home.
