Having been on a few drives with Reg back in my XR6T days, rest assured, he does drive the wheels off the thing.

Cheers

Steve

Ps. My Brembos are still red.

Shame.

Lets see-

1. massive brake fade going at over 200 kph after going WOT around a circuit for about 4 minutes with continual and repeated heavy braking from high speed, and then another day suffering same fate at same spot after doing same circuit..

2. Marulan track day 20 km and having my front brake pads start combusting and billowing smoke causing me to have to drive on public road slowly to douse "fire" from pads.

3. Discs so lipped and worn that they are now throw away at 45,000 km.

The Brembos on my car are merchantable in paint- still nice new red.

They are not merchantable in terms of ability to brake my car with my driving, hence why I have bought and am waiting on the 6 pot calipers and 34 mm thick discs from shockworks, with the structural rigidity in calipers afforded by bolts over the monolithic alloy flex in 6 pot brembos....

Perhaps new Brembos stand up with hard driving and colour - but with age go off in ability for paint to handle heat?

I have same discs and 6 pots, mine went the same. Mine are 2007 vintage. Maybe the new paint is better. AP's way better than brembo...

From your pic I know you're not talking about looks when you say 'better'. Christ I would have put up with the stock looking 4/1 brembos if talking about looks.

My 6/4s work perfect, then again I don't track mine. Even if I did I'm sure I couldn't drive as hard as you grasshopper

No I dont run 6 + 4 for looks. Plus I have 2 F6 so I can compare back to back. AP are the way to go for serious track work.

Wouldn't run those for looks - I take your word on their race stopping ability though - no arguements from me

They don't look too bad though. Ava good weekend gents. I'm off to Supercheap and am now on holidays
