Remember the advertising slogan Ford were using some years back - "Have you driven a Ford lately?". Well, I saw a play on that on a number plate frame fitted to a tough Mustang in the US a couple of years ago - "Have you chased a Ford lately?" I'd love to get that on my number plate frames here!!!

my old man had a neat XY ute years ago with a sticker on the back window that read:
KEEP AUSTRALIA BEAUTIFUL... DRIVE A FORD. he also put the classic "this is Ford country.... where u can hear the Holdens rusting" on his work car of the time.... a VN Comm wagon! how p1ssed do u reckon his 1 eyed Holden boss was when he saw that...  : and while were bashing the others... Hunk Of Lead Does Exactly Nothing. and Chuck Heave Even Vomit. lastly, saw a couple of guys that were together at the Clipsal 500 years ago with t-shirts saying... Chev Engine, Ford Diff, but they call it a Holden! |

Another slogan Ford used to use was "Going Ford Is The Going Thing" around the mid '80's I think/

'"Old moves"
i came up with that in response to fords "bold moves" slogan. which involves alot of chrome and rehashing 70s styling. ok, so i chuckled to myself at the time, probably should have kept it to myself :P

on my tool box at work, just to p155 the holden supporters off, i have my Ford badge smack in the center and on the top i have "I'd rather push my Ford then drive a Holden" and on the bottom I have "This is Ford Country, where on a quiet day you can here the Holdens rusting"

good one. A lot of truth to that I say. good thing nissan helped holden out with the vl. I wonder what they would have used otherwise? Damn shame they used that buick 'pile of shake rattle and roll' in the vn's would have been great to see what molden would be like today if they had kept their relationship with nissan and used the engines nissan pump out
