teapots are for pansys. anyway back on topic, her music is avril lavigne-ish in the sense her voice is similar and the style is similar also but the lyrics are meaningful unlike avril's.
for all the haters, christian rock is actually decent music and they need to play more of this in chart music I'm sick to death of listening to all the other crap that gets played all the time on the radio/tv/etc all that ghetto thug music is really overplayed and its not very educational nor positive for young people. |

Flavze, Id have to disagree withya there ! Every time im at my mums place in brisvegas, and there is a knock at the door , Mum is worried I may answer it before her , cause I will only be polite once to the bible bash crew trying to give me a free searchlight magazine explaining how i can save my sorry *** from eternal damnation ! Most of the time , Mum gets ther first , adn most of the time they end up in the kitchen and low and behold , What comes out but the ever important teapot! They then sit around and chat like old freinds for ages . Now Dad is not impartial to the odd cup of tea at all , and usually has about a dozen a day , but even he wont punish himself by entertaining the theives of time! So it seems to me that the teapot is of quite relevent importance to this thread ! and by the way red , Is that one of them rare commemorative teapots of that great day in OCT 1977 when 2 certain falcons did something quite special ! Is that your teapot ? That, is a nice teapot !

How about we let the thread get back on topic, and to Satans Little Helpers, take it elsewhere. You're as bad as Torana Trolls in an X-Series thread. :

I think this is disgusting! I have never heard this singer, but I am willing to give her a go. I think it is terrible the way a relatively newcomer to the forums has posted a thread in hopes to share his interest and people have sledged him for it! I agree with mr sparkle. The way this thread has been taken over by people abusing christians is worse than SSBub taking over the why I like Holdens thread.
No-one asked what your opinion of christian music was. No-one asked what you thought of Avril Lavigne, no-one asked what you thought of "bible bashers" that come to your door. I am greatly offended by much of the comments in this thread. I am a christian. I don't try and convert any of you or ram it down your throat! I think it is terrible that a person can start a thread saying "I found a nice christian singer" and people jump on him and say how they are going to listen to satanic music. I see many threads talking of music I don't listen to and I keep out. I figure it is for the people who enjoy it. I just hope people learn a bit of respect and can behave like adults on here.

yeah well i'm a catholic christian..i could open up a whole batch of ideas...but half of you guys see things in black and white and would not be able to think outside of whats been programmed in your minds...i don't believe in any form of religion due to the fact that its my personal discretion to do so...the same as someone who beleives in religion...its at there own discretion...my reasons are because of what i see in the world...whats happened in the past and how people use religion as a scapegoat for there actions
shes a christian singer...good on the guy for sharing an interest but if someone says they don't like christian rock then thats perfectly on topic....why would they get to listeining to this chick if they don't even like it.. |

Right or wrong, I think that bringing up anything to do with religion or politics on these forums is a BAD IDEA! No ones fault, but it always ends badly.

I'm with big_waity and masters24, a bit of consideration is the very LEAST one can offer. People are free to say no thanks, but if you haven't got something nice to say as per any thread, better to not say anything at all.

And you also forgot to mention the teapot thing ! Why would that be ??? I just happen to think that a car forum is no place for religous discusion , if you wish to not like me for that big deal. but I hardly think you have a right to be disgusted by anything in here that was said! I think you should turn the other cheek, go to confession and say 4698 hail mary's for being so silly ! I love you brother Big ! In fact , I love yasall !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

plain and simple religion and politics go hand in hand with each which causes rifts between people because EVERYBODY HAS A DIFFERENCE IN OPINION. You cant expect people to agree with something you say just cuase you think its right

The user RED_EL_XR8 is really ruining this thread for everybody. Please keep it on topic I dont want it to get closed because of forum trolls. Some of you people could atleast check out the Krystal Meyer official site and listen to her single before making any assumptions, its a really nice song. Its not for everybody but you could maybe appreciate it then. Last edited by GTS_300_Coupe; 25-11-2005 at 09:07 PM. |

Here's a few new pics to add to the thread I found while she was on tour. :
Interestingly enough she actually looks very similar and dresses similar to Avril Lavigne too. |

I listened. Whoops.
I remember why I hate christian rock. It's all the same. So bloody boring, the lyrics might as well be the same. They are extremly simple and predictable lyrics. I might go listen to Imagine for my anti-religion fix. That or I'll go start a Deist rock band. We could organise a gig and just not turn up. |

All the same, from Lifehouse to Switchfoot to MxPx.... riiiight. At least have half an idea before posting mindless dribble regardless of your "side" of the fence.
Sorry ladies and gentlemen Psycho_chicken has completely explained christian rock and we can all stop listening now because it bores him, it's all the same, the lyrics are too simple for him to understand and it just doesn't excite him. I can sleep a happy man tonight.

Cmon guys, there has been adequate warnings...
the thread is about Krystal Meyers music, not whether you're religious or not or anything else. If you dont agree with it dont post in the thread, which at this rate isnt far from being closed |

Well there is absolutely no hope of this forum being capable of handling a thread like this, thanks entirely to the users. I suggest a padlock, to stop further off-topic cretinous trolling.
