I can't agree with that. I hate altezza lights full stop. They look shocking on just about any car they're put on. Also I think the same about cannons. They look cheap, and if I had a Skyline, it would never recieve a cannon. I'd go for twin tips or something a bit more subtle

i hate those cars with 60billion reflectors stuck all over them, in the door jams, along the bottom sills - everywhere. so ugly and so pointless

as for ricer mods, the fully hektik rear wing always brings a laugh

That Fairlane rear wing is enough to make the original owner turn in his grave, ewwww.

The majority of quick cars have auto's, alot also have monster tacho's. I guess it all depends on if its warranted, ie do you really need a 5" tacho and shift light on a 250 crossflow xf? (not that there aren't some quick 250's out there)

What if it's a Manual, without an indash tacho?

2 reasons why I wanted too put a monster tacho in my VL.

1: Because I liked the look of them.

2: I wanted to see what rpm I was shifting at and it's better than looking at a clock.

I should've just got a Calais dash though.

What I'm trying to say is that if you have reason for an aftermarket tacho, then it doesn't look out of place. my problem is when you throw a 10,000 rpm tach into a bog stock VB that's flat out reving past 5k.

I think Autometer have kinda cheapened their image by introducing "affordable" gauges like Autogauge. Fast and the Furious haven't helped them either or NOS for that matter. But I guess they've made more money.

What I can't understand is the lowered drivers seat mod. I often see guys in VN's and other cars, that have there seat so low, they can hardly see over the steering wheel or out the side window. They look like little kids driving dad's car.

What's the attraction with that??

Is it supposed to give them a lower centre of gravity or are they just dwarfs driving them?

Yep , I'm with you guy's with the Tacho's , I've got a 10,000 VDO Tacho on the dash of my FC Holden (sorry for swearing on AFF) but then again it's got a 192 , triple SU's , 40/80 cam & I was always spinning the old 8G Smiths off the end . : ( Got a piston with bent up bigend to prove it : )

Don't know if you can still get them , but on eBay you used to be able to buy a fitting to put "in" your exhaust that " Gives You A REAL Turbo Sound" Mmmm Rice or what !

I was in Yass today & followed a grey Lancer & guess what ..Twin 3" (guess) cans out the back . Wasn't game to give him a "run" , must have had Awsome power :nutsycuck

I got a 9000rpm tacho stock : And it's in the middle of the cluster where it should be :P

I'd never put in an aftermarket one unless I didn't have one to begin with.

Since I wont ever buy an old car I don't have to ever worry about getting flamed

Now im being serious here, but ALOT of modded commy drivers are short-*****. Yeap its a huge generalization but its true, and for some stupid reason they have their front seat leaning against the back...LOL
