Actually the Taurus was runner up COTY in the states, and actually sold more than any other car than the Explorer so Ford Oz thought it might work here. Just like Holden thought the Monaro would work over there.

Seriously though, the Diehards at Holden are in Denial. Not for nothing but I've personally noticed that their is a much higher proportion of socialists or communists; (commies) that are Holden fans i.e. Bob Carr has Holdens, Greg Combet (ACTU) drives Holdens, Doug Cameron (Union Stooge) drives Holdens, and pretty much any feral shacka or yobbo is in love with Holden. Mind you some great people drive Holden too, my point is that they receive a bad name for the notoriety of a few less desirables.

Their seems to be a lot of petty jealousy and judging by the severe lack of grammar, I am guessing the level of maturity on this Holden website your BF visited is not that significant.

For a start, one or two of the jokes referred to "retards". Funnily enough this same person goes on to say "your"; a pathetic attempt to abbreviate you are. If I remember correctly it was primary school when I and most other people learnt the difference in English class. Obviously a number of contributors to their (not there) website mustn't (must not) have attended. Pathetic indeed.

The jokes are sadly rebadged jokes that have simply substituted whatever make for whatever their arguement is....... Much the same as Holden rebadging Daewoo's and selling them as a Holden product.

To all of those with an IQ less than 60 who think that grammer is the old woman in the front room of the house, the joke is in you. Sex in a Holden? Ouch, you've got our measure (although most Ford owners have enough class to pay for a room).
