Can't say I'm a fan.

I'll stick with 05/06 if I still plan to get a WRX in the future

honestly, who are the d*ckheads responsible for sitting around a table and thinking to themselves that this design was a good idea. that is the ugliest car I've seen in a long time. what went wrong from 1999 onwards when they had it just right.

After being the "hero" car and BFYB benchamrk for other manufacturers to measure up to Subaru have turned around and started measuring up to the other manufacturers....so sad.

This makes the late 90's WRX's a classic....

I'd still have a Mazda 3 MPS over a Rex and (eeeek) and XR5 (just)

That is the worst mistake since they went to the bug eye design.

Exactly. All they had to do was make a good looking car and it's rep will do the rest for sales.

Looks good from the rear, looks atrocious from every other angle though.

honestly, I don't mind it. If they've sorted the drivetrain and given it a bit more track and wheelbase, it should be competitive. The current model is still running the same basic dimensions as the original (albeit with more and uglier plastic appended at each end every year.)

not the most appealing piece of metal around. Certainly taken the Toyota approach to design (now that Toyota owns a fair stake of the Subaru pie), nip and tuck parts from other car makers.

I dont think its that bad, good to be different, and it will still sell because of its price and performance.

The rear end looks a bit mondeo'ish.

I tell you what though, that new Tibecra or whatever it is looked horrible in pics, but in the flesh I reakon its ok, ive changed my tune over that car.

The Bug-Eye saw the demise of the coupe. Now this thing has seen the demise of the sedan. WTF? So its hatch only?!

Subaru have lost the plot.

World's first dingo ugly car. Still, it'll probably help their rolling acceleration times as the rest of us burst out laughing when we see it on the road.
