I would go the Victor Bray way about it. Instead of me loosing weight make the car lose weight. If you can do it yourself and know that you can get cheap carbon it is very easy. Hey, I get carbon fibre for aroiund $30 -$35 a metre instead of ~$80m. I know how to use and therefore my labour is free. Not that expensive compared to someone else doing.

Strip the whole interior out seats, dashboard,, spare wheel, air con, sound deading, replace boot, boonet, bumbers whith carbon / nomex panels (The same stuff used on the F40, expensive at ~$750 a metre), no fibreglass. Lightweight rims, calipers, heads, driveshaft ect, no lights

Valued Contributor: For members whose non technical contributions are worthy of recognition. - Issue reason: Jim has consistently for some time now shared his life, and his passions in his XY GT and more so his FG GT in a way so everyone here feels part of the journey, which helps make AFF such a worthwhile place to be. An outstanding contributor in my book.

I've got the dash apart in the XB at the moment, tossing up if I should put the heater box back in or not. Or at least gut the heater core so I've got all the vent stuff.

And yes it is 74kW, NOT 70.
