Well new would be an RS4, C63 AMG, AMG GT-R, M5, GT-R, Camaro ZL1.

If I hit the lotto tomorrow, I'd buy a W1. I think most of these are technically new

First choice would be an F-Type R. (Dream Car!)

Second choice a Aston Martin V8 Vantage.

Thing is I dont want a screaming fast road car. I want super luxury, seats like clouds, quiet inside except for the ear melting stereo. I want interior like an upmarket bordello (or as i imagine one). Im not allowed to go faster than 110, and i dont need to win the start at every lights. As long as it can keep up easily and climb hills relaxed, im good.

If i want to drive fast that has to be on a race track, so i will buy an actual race car and trailer it to the track.

but i dont want a suv or x over i want a "car". So im guessing its genesis or lexus for me.

In one of the buildings i work in one bloke drives an f type r. Not going to lie, the thing sounds amazing. Even putting around to basement level 4. But he always drops the hammer leaving the car park. Yeah its a bit of an ego trip i guess, but it sounds great. I suspect theres a bit of a CEO competition going in that place. One bloke has both a 355 Ferrari but the one with all the carbon fibre race stuff, and also a 458. And a couple other blokes have amg gt's. Leaving the car park they all mash it. Makes the exhaust i plan to put on tomorrow on my car seem like im an absolute peasant.

I would not necessarily say 'smarter' but definitely good and smart enough to charge like a wounded bull and mostly based in common sense.

Though on the flip side the average tradie won't or couldn't earn any degree, let alone a law one.

I'm not writing them all off but most don't or can't, that's facts. Why would they bother when they can earn $$$ without that BS

Not throwing shade on either legal peoples or tradies. I lay no claim on being the smartest tradesman out there, but i did have a ranger for a few years, 30 not 300k. Did what it was asked. My mums a lionel hutz of lawyers. Been shunned by the legal society for beleiving and taking on a rediculous false charity case.
So, back on topic. Maybe, just for a cruiser a 2 door roller. Im not sure if theyre under 300k.

I've always like the lamborghinis made when VAG owned them. So Murciélago and gallardo.
OP probably stipulated new or something boring like that - are lambo even selling something new? E: oh it's the hurracan and it's $600k. This dumb ex tradey doesn't like the rules. :(
If not, then maybe a mclaren? Nah, not in the rules.

I guess I'll have to be boring and be forced into saying a 911 variant. I'd rather not though. ****ing rigged so people go for the porsche!

I guess if you didn't work hard to make that $300k, you could add a Range Rover SVR to the list (you wouldn't cry when it devalues by $200k in 3 or 4 years), the 423 kW s/c 5 Litre would be pretty fun in that.

Would you care to clarify your post? If any thing it highlights your lack of intelligence. We tradies buy Rangers and other brands of utes as they are a tool to transport us and our tools to jobs. They are great for tax deductions, so if we spend a bit of money personalising them, wheels etc it's a write off.
Labelling tradies as unintelligent is a huge generalisation, what is your mark of intelligence? Having a degree? Got one of those. Having a superior I.Q.? Got one of those. I run my own business doing what I love, work the hours I want to so I can spend as much time as I can with my family, earn just as much if not more than someone with a degree who is stuck in an office all day. Last time I checked only 25% of people with degrees, in Australia, saw any financial benefit from all their studies (earned more than average). Almost daily I have to correct plans from architects and engineers, using the same math that they spent 3-4 years at university to learn and they still don't get it right.
I charge a fair price based on the quality of my work and the years of experience, I have never knowingly ripped anyone off and I pride myself on my ethics in business. To tar us all with the same brush reflects more on you, would it work if the statement was reversed? Office workers love them. Says it all as not an intelligent type, how stupid are they to sit inside all day and not make as much as us tradies.

So, buying a European car makes a person intelligent?

Have another crack at that post mate. I think you might have not fully thought it through?

He’s got back to opinionated garbage like he was when he admitted he’s a pill popper. Looks like he’s back at it.

Go to rehab mate.

As for what i’d get for 300k. A new GT500.

Only because a new 911 turbo S is too far over 300k.

My previous posts were not at all intended the way it came across and agree poorly articulated.

Had a bad day packing up my daughter's room as selling and emotion got the better of me.

I should not have been posting.

Sorry and back to intelligent and appropriate discussion.

No that wasn't the case at all (no need to be nasty) but yes I definitely wasn't in a good headspace.

I haven't been in my daughter's room for 18mths so cleaning it out screwed me up a fair bit mentally.

No drugs or anything not that what I wrote was inappropriate. It was unacceptable.

Definitely a Dodge Challenger of some description for me, but I'd just hope someone could sort out the backwards gear shifter.

No I wasn't.

I apologise.

I don't think tradies are inferior to lawyers in any way.

If anything smarter and certainly more honest.

Completely ridiculous comment. Embarassing.

As previous I didn't mean it at all, but you are entitled to hold that view as my fault.

Maybe my Ex cheating on me with a tradesman then actively helped lie about me in Court to get my daughter came through when very upset/angry. I apologise.

I shouldn't have been posting in that state.
