There was a 12c used to be a fire marshals car at Silverstone I think it could have had the kit. Had everything thing else race on it including dry break refuel.

Looks like a Victorian rego sticker with a UK tax disc on the windscreen. Don’t know why he’d have both.

Yeah, she’s cool. It was more thought along the lines of the authorities over these letting him have it on.

It’s a bit like having a USA number plate on a truck over here next to a Federal plate. They make you take them off because it confuses the cameras, lol.

Don't forget Aussie Fords were sold in the UK in the 1970's, albeit in very limited numbers. Nice to see some survivors of the road salt, however I reckon these cars are exports from down under in more recent years judging by condition !

Well at least they might have an interesting show this time round.

I thought there were so many ideas they could "Top Gear" for a some good shows but they did squat for TGA and TG uk doesn't seem interested because Jeremy says we have too many spiders.

I thought they would have done:

1) a mad max special on the Nullabor - they each buy an Aussie bomb of the era for <$500 and add bits to it in their usual style.

2) a Bathurst special (aka Bath Hurst) old or new Ford / Holden they get to spend $ for aftermarket speed

3) just a plain old shoot out (old cars and or new cars like the photo's)

4) a Simpson desert bash

maybe they will get the idea...

It is a ford v holden shootout type feature showing the classic aussie muscle.

I was asked a few weeks ago by the pedders uk supplier if i was interested in the show as they had been contacted about supplying some holdens and since I was the only falcon owner he knew passed my details on and wanted me to get some more in.

It turned out they were looking for classic aussie cars that were available in th UK from new.

This will be for season 16. Though it will probably also be shown on TGAU from a different perspective.

According to Andy Wilman, TGUK series 16 won't go to air until January/February next year, and there will, as usual, be an 'epic' road trip, but they're not giving any info as to where that will be.

*crosses fingers for an AUS special*
