Well I start the day giving her a morning cuddle and breakfast in bed. I get the kids up dressed and ready then take them to school. I call from the office around noon to see how her day is going. I come home in the evening and take the kids off her hands, play with them and put them to bed. I clean up the kitchen and make us both a coffee with some biscuits. I ask her about her day and show interest in the things she feels are important.
I do this everyday. I love my wife.

What's Valentine's Day???
Oh yeah, that's right. It's the day when a girl/lady can send an anonymous card/note to a guy to let him know that someone is interested in him. It's up to him to work it out and act on it. It developed from that to being the one day of the year that a girl/lady could ask a man out instead of the usual waiting for him to do it. I guess this came about because some guys were a bit slow and would never have got around to doing it without her giving a prod. Now it is just another day where men are supposed to do (read "BUY") something for their wife/GF. IT'S BS!!! That's my opinion anyway, take it for what it's worth ... |

today the chicks buy me stuff (ha yeah right, but what i mean is the girls have to give the boys chocolates and stuff) and then in exactly one month time, the boys have to buy the girls something larger, but only for the ones that they are interested in. it's pretty sweet, don't have to think about who to buy stuff for! |

Hmmm Valentines Day.
I never got into it before, because I either had a very unromantic boyfriend or I was single. So it was never a big deal. However, I do like it and it is nice to have one day that draws attention to that stuff more than other days.... Now it seems I do have rather a romantic fella, and we havent been together all that long, so it's our very first Valentines Day. And he told me he was getting me something before I even thought about getting him something! I have no idea either. And the thing is that I dont care what he gets me, if he gets me something, its the thought behind it that I love anyway. I have his present already, and while its not overly romantic, its pretty cool and very specific to him, so I am hoping he will like it. It's nothing massive but its more the thought behind it I hope he will love. And I cant say what it is because he is on the forums and will read this thread! *Hi baby!* In any case, I am not seeing him on the day, but we are going camping this weekend, so our Valentines Day will be sometime over the weekend. As far as presents go, I couldnt care less what I get from him, even if nothing at all. Because we are in two states at the moment, Im happy just to spend time with him. Im not overly into jewellery and that, and I certainly would never expect ANYTHING. And as far as presents for the fellas goes, I think it just depends on the guy and what he likes. Go with something thoughtful, to show you have put a lot of thought into it for HIM, regardless of cost, and you cant go wrong. This is my first decent Valentines for ages, so Im looking forward to it. Ive got the best guy in the world, spending time with him is all I need. With presents, just remember, its the thought that counts, not how much you spend. I hope you all have a nice Valentines Day!

One of the drawbacks of having an Imaginary Girlfriend (tm)...Valentine's day is very lonely.
On the upside, I don't have to think! That is always good!
