$2000 will be each as they will still take several days to make each as it's a pretty labour intensive job

it would improve price but by the time you pay for the program the huge piece of alloy etc plus the job you could easy spend $10,000 and no manifold is worth that no matter how good it goes or looks

Oh bugger, thought they'd be cheaper. I thought that it would be quite cheap, i thought the machine scanned the intake them produced a copy.

What would the block of alloy be worth.

dude sounds like it's way out of your budget, the block of alloy alone in t5 would cost a easy couple of grand

Lol last time i checked alloy wasn't that expensive.

So what is a cheapish way to copy a Boss intake manifold, would you be able to get them made under $1ooo.

possibly but would need to be doing at least 5 units, the alloy you've probably looked at is extrusion which is cheap and cannot be cnc machined let anlone and decent form of machining

Yea we used to cart alloy for capral aluminium, mostly finished product but we also carted there alloy log's. They extruded there products from the log's and melted the rest back down. Why can't it be cnc machined.

So how would i go about getting that done Steve, i'd be looking at doing a minimum of 5 to start with.

if you can send me a long motor which you want to use, no internals needed and perfer not to have , only heads and block and lower inlet, we could start one for you in a couple of weeks, what did you want to use for the top, factory unit or one of ours?

Shouldn't be a drama, iv'e got to strip 1 of them down anyway.

Getting custom upper's made as our's dont have the provisions needed for the engines, all i need to supply at this stage is the lower's. How will you make these, how close will they be to the original's.

Unless he's as co-oridinated as a mildy retarded 3 legged, drunken giraffe then i'd think he's in with a pretty good shot, guy's keen showing up at 2am for a job interview. Either that or he stumbled in on the way home from the pub.

Looking good Steve, looks like you got the top-class facilities that not a lot of shops have

Will the dyno area be in it's own controlled room with exhaust fans etc, as well having an engine dyno room?

APS here in Melbourne is the only shop I have seen with this sort of setup, from memory they spent $200,000 on the new dyno room, but if you have the opportunity to do something similar that you will be repaid with consistancy and customers will come from afar to benefit from those results

Sounds like you'll only be getting busier Steve
