Anyone can enter the All Ford day in Geelong and display their vehicles. To be part of the ORSM Ford Cruises display you would need to be a member. I do know that the Forums have a display also.

When are we getting down for the AFD? And is there a pre meet place, i was originally going to stay down at Geelong saturday night but then remembered 14th is valentines day :(.

Normally we all meet at a servo prior to driving down, the favorite being the shell prior to the Westgate Bridge, out bound.

last year we met just off the hoppers exit, plenty of room to park & easy access for everyone, some decided to meet us down there. seems like a sensible idea to use the same place & times again

afaik the entry forms they recieve will dictate how much room we get, they may give an extra bit of room just incase some entries on the day, they haven't asked for numbers to be sent in this year.

hope they give a site layout like they did last year.

This year for the Kiwanis Geelong All Ford Day (Feb 15th) we will be using judges sourced from the individual clubs, as we did last time. It was well received by the entrants last year, being judged by your peers. I'm looking for enthusiastic people, 2 or 3 from each club, to volunteer their time and skills to assist me for this years event. Volunteers will get free entry and have lunch & drinks supplied for the day. I anticipate it will take around 2 - 3 hours to complete. Would any interested people please PM me, or at aporte33@ford.com or on 0400 014913.

Could someone from this club PM me with the appropriate contact name and Ph No. for me to contact in regards to the AFD?

Also a reminder that the pre-registration closes on 31st January. If you're coming, make sure you pre-register, entry fee $20. Or it will cost you $30 on the day and you'll have to queue for payment, while pre-registered cars go straight onto the arena. See www.allfordday.org.au

Our admin people were supposed to request a estimate of the numbers for each club, however they didn't, which has caused us a little grief with the layout. Based on your thread here, I've penciled you in for 30, is that enough?

A layout of the site will be posted on our web site www.allfordday.org.au probably 1 week after the pre registration cut off.

Please note that only pre-registered cars can park in the reserved club area, however we have decided to make some exceptions to this by prior arragement. ( we would have to put the stickers for your club area at the payment tent)

We anticipate some delays at the payment tent so I would urge you to pre register if you can. I see you have an early meeting time which is excellent!

Good feedback, I wish I had read this earlier. It may be too late this year to split this category up due to trophy's already ordered. Having said that, there was only 9 vehicles judged last year that didn't fall into a particular category. I'll take it on board.
