FPV or a Mustang. Using your rules. Although a GTR would be awesome.
Breaking the rules. A new ute. XR6T or GS and tip the rest into a Hot Rod.

2 or 4 doors ?
Family car or weekend toy ? All previously mentioned .... Used C63, E92 M3, RS5, GTR or even a Jag ? new 335i, VF GTS Factory (or extended factory) warranty with used Euro is paramount .

Audi RS4 would be my pick.
Even a couple of years old the build quality and refinement are streets ahead of anything else on your list and performance is ahead as well. |

Breaking the thread rules and being a wet blanket here.....I now prefer to invest in EXPERIENCES as opposed to THINGS, and to buy TIME whenever I can....
I've had all the cars I want.......

You Kiwis are spoilt for choice on this price range. Before picking up the GT we nearly moved back to the South Island and I would have been all over an XFR instead. Couple of option with a quick search will ballpark figures. So many options http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used...-622364224.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used...-626353115.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used...-622666542.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used...-619230158.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used...-630429224.htm If we ever do move back to NZ for the missus I certainly wont be complaining when it comes to filling the garage.

XR6 Turbo and invest the rest in Ford stock for a healthy dividend every quarter and an increasing asset.
By the time you're ready to trade the XR6 T, you'll have close to $100,000 Aussie in value with that stock. |

Wait for the new Mustang and grab a Shelby GT350, of the current crop it would be a FGII GT with 6/4 Brembo upgrade.

From the list above, Probably a Merc with the 63AMG engine.
But that would be a very hard decision. I can think of about 10 other cars I would happily park in my driveway. Black on black Jeep SRT8 being one. Big decision. |

This is actually a very difficult question for me. If someone handed me $110k to buy a car, I wouldn't know what to spend it on.
I prefer buying new than used, but $110k is not quite enough for a Merc S-Class, but it's way too much for a Falcon. The only thing I could think of that might interest me now is the G6E Ecoboost, but I'm not interested enough to actually want to fork out money for one, even if it was free money. Ask me again next year and I think I'll want the Mondeo Titanium Ecoboost. The new Mondeo should be loaded to the brim with all the tech I want.
