We don't do organ harvesting in the Philippines. Dental care is second to none though, and cheap as, which is why a lot of foreigners have their dental work done there.
I visited the family there recently and had my teeth cleaned for a fraction of what we pay here. Should have gotten gold caps (or a proper "grill") while I was at it.

So you have had this done before? Can you please PM me details of who where to go in the Philippines as the price tag for here is scaring the 'you know what' outta me.

Depends where you're going. I grew up in Manila and my mate's aunt was a dentist.
There's a lot of dental clinics over there and prices dont vary much, but I assume it'd be cheaper the farther you are from the CBD (Makati City).
Although I should warn you that they may raise the price just because you're foreign (and therefore "rich").

I worked as a casual tyre fitter during holidays at high school and uni. I was always very cautious of anything to do with wheels and tyres .. Especially on trucks.
Sorry about your accident. Hope it all ends up ok ..

Keep on top of that mate, having delt with a close family member that is on workcover for the rest of her life susposedly and has been since the accident back in '85, they will do anything to slowly pry you away from their record's and of their book's, they really are scum in my mind, having seen the pain and missfortune they put people through with legitmate injuries.

almost 14K!!! thats crazy, find it hard to justify it being so expensive when I had my two front teeth replaced when I was in South America a few years ago for $500! They are better than new (had one of them busted when I was a kid and the one beside it had nerve damage.)

My old man had a tyre dealership for twenty years and all truck tyre work was done using drop down cages over the tyre fitting machines or a mobile cage for stuff done on-site, and he sold and fitted a lot of truck tyres over those years, and none of the fitters were ever injured, by either tyre-levers or bead blow outs.

Cages are used for pumping tyres up. Not changing them. Too bloody difficult working through bars when changing a tyre. Let alone truck tyre.

I do sympathise with the OP. It's very easy for a lever to slip off and hit you in the face. Touch wood, it hasn't happened to me yet.
