All adds up to 125points in the new AFL judiciary rules. 100 gets you a reprimand.. BUT if he pleads guilty 25% reduction! He WILL play!!! (plus his mum has also rallied the AFL)

I'll be supporting Sydney to win (ex Sth.Melb) because it's been a long time since their last premiership which was in 1933 .
Go SWANS.

No one would watch the swans play and no-one in Sydney gave them a 2nd thought. Soon as they started to win, they were the best team in the country. All their supporters came out of the wood work.

Go the Eagles.
im dissapointed in you dwayne....

im driving down friday to watch the swans hopefully come through with the flag, i think theyve got a real strong chance, much better than '96

I started before the bandwagon/barrassi, went to every home game when 4000 people was a decent turn out (bring back the swannettes lol)

I envy you, if the "other" W.A team would of been in then I would be in the same position as you, attending the grand final, good luck though and hope your team wins the cup.

It was 40m off the ball. Would hardly call that in the field of play. As to the impact of the strike, im not sure what will be decided here. One view would be to take the strike on the reaction of the recieving party (over reacting).

The best outcome would be let off, however he could be looking at 2 weeks there.

Hall has been given a 2 week suspension, but can take 1 week with an early guilty plea.

be interesting to see what the swans do, they will almost certainly appeal, just wonder whether it will upset the teams preperations, as it will be dragged on until thursday night if sydney appeal the suspension.

Well done to West Coast and Sydney !

Your're both winners to me because Victorians will boast they don't care (as if ) because no Vic team has made it and thankfully the Qlder's have had a year they will never forget ! Smacked at Origin and Lions are no more......

The Swans will now argue at the tribunal that it WAS ON the ball! Same scenario was used with Gherig against Pies & Archer (I forget who against)... Hall was making a play to where the ball was heading.. it IS NOT off the ball. IF they prove this, it then becomes a 125 point category 1 offence & he'll play

I dont know about that Stkilda got belted in that last 1/4 by Sydney no one has done that to them this year on the MCG normally the other way around and if sydney didnt get those ridiculous ref calls against them at subicaco "super" oval they would of won there and stats mean nothing.
GO THE SWANS!!!!!!!!!

With Sydney playing their "ugly" football of the initial rounds of this season i would agree but their style has changed dramatically to a much more free flowing running style football where i think it would actually suit them more on a larger ground.

i think it actually disadvantaged sydney by sydney playing geelong at the SCG and not Stadium Australia as Geelongs "ugly" style football that worked for 95 minutes of the game i dont think would have worked on a much larger ground where sydney could have run alot more.

well see anyway i guess

hes been reported for a grade 2 striking offence today - which carries a 2 week suspension.

if he pleads guilty he will receive just 1 week - still doesnt help us obviously

so hell obviously fight it - which is tomorrow

Difficult decision for the swans. These are the hardest. 22 rounds leading upto this plus finals series, plays a hard game all season. 1 mistake, and he pays the penalty. See what happens. Maybe the judiciary will for once see it for what it was, as a little tickle behind play.

its a **** off because all of this happened with Dunkley for the 96 grand final
swans ended up taking afl to the supreme court to let him play the grand final and serve the suspension the first week of the next season

the afl have now outruled this loophole out:

You obviously have no fizzin idea what ya talkin about or ya desperatly need a pair of glasses, roo's elbow came no where near the west coast guys head. His shoulder only just made contact with the guys jaw.
That incident has absolutley no similarities in relation to the Barry Hall incident.

Sydney has my vote.... And only because they are closer to Victoria!!

And they use to be based in Vic!!

However if they play the way they did against Geelong they may struggle.
