A Chevrolet that they have been making since 1953. Always a swooping body, always fibre glass, always with leaf springs and always has and always will be a 2 seater.

For sale if anyone wants it. Nothing wrong with it, just so boring. 2010 Prado for work. Not a bad 4x4. On road it is not amazing. |

Ive owned heaps of non fords, vw turbos, peugoet gti, ls1 ss, eunos back in the day, but my favourite is still the old EL fairmont 5.0 with the windsor v8. Just beautiful, 3.45 diff gears, extractors, exhaust and cai. Wasnt anywhere near the fastest car ive owned but what a cruiser. I owned it alongside a heavily modded xr6t and the el was just as enjoyable.

Mini Cooper S, the go cart on steroids.
Mercedes Sprinter 319 Ambulance, paid to flog someone else's car. Subaru Forrester 2.5L NA, the ambulance station officer's vehicle, gutless as hell and drinks more fuel than my Typhoon, why do they bother?

My wife has a 2010 C250 Mercedes and it's rubbish. Drives beautifully, goes hard, handles amazingly, the bluetooth iPod integration is is 1st class and the Harmon Kardon sound system is amazing. It will be gone by Xmas. Just to fragile.
Just trying to trick her into a GT-E.

Mitsubishi Pajero turbo diesel. That's my car since I sold my Ford Focus. The Pajero is the camping/trips/carting stuff wagon.
The Fiesta is my wife's runabout for her and the kids. Awesome little car.

MY09 Subaru Forester XT auto. And for those who are interested.....
Good Points: - Turbo boxer engine is punchy and reliable. - Massive interior space for what is a small car on the outside. - Great visibility - Capable AWD system that has good front/rear torque split. Bad points: - Interior build quality (NVH) is terrible. As far as rattles, creaks and groans go, its the worst car I've ever owned. Its woeful. - Way underdamped rear suspension. Roll steer can be exciting. - Some weird interior design features. Think of it as the Saab of the 4WD world. - 4 speed auto is ancient. - Surprisingly thirsty no matter how gently you drive it. - Fuel tank capacity is 10 litres too small. |
