No regrets for you, an epic surprise for the attending physician when they cut you open for the autopsy

On the topic of kebabs and souvlakis (which I prefer) there seems to be a few problems in Queensland:
- Toasting the whole thing after its assembled so the salad wilts, rather than doing the pita bread first and separately - Putting CHEESE in a souvlaki! Its supposed to be meat and salad and garlic sauce and that's it. Anyway, if anyone is interested there's a reasonable kebab shop in the food court at Caloundra shopping centre located about 500 metres east of the McDonalds. I'd probably give them 7/10 given the toasting problem but if they agreed to cook the bread separate it'd be at least an 8.5 |

There are two places which i tend to frequent quite regularly. Kebabish in Horne st, Sunbury and the other is a little Kebab joint directly opposite the Children's Hospital in Flemington Rd, Parkville..

Yes I will drive out of my way to go get a good Kabab.
I have never come across a Kabab shop with Aussies running it that was good at all, in fact just total rubbish like toby's I think it was and the Gold Coast where all I have tried were shocking dry rubbish, never again. The one I go to since 1989 has moved 3 times now and are real good people who run the shop and they will inform you who are type of mob's to keep away from directly, they don't want people like that coming over here or given the red carpet treatment. My little Jewish mate never ate a Kabab, but eventually I brought him to get one off my Arab mate and he was really impressed, he use to bag the sh-t out of me for eating them, don't come around hear with that crap ! he would say. |
