You're about 400k from Melbourne then, Horsham is about 300 from Ballarat IIRC.

Go buy more smokes then

The cop that used to be in Bordertown years ago was a fair .
It's probably a different one now but I remember him very well he got his
fair share of revenue.

It's Stawell, decent sized town so you won't have a probelm.

Sounds good RG-at this rate, with only 200 and something klms to go we should be there soon.
Cheers for keeping me entertained! But I'll still be posting to alleviate boredom.

A quick tip too, stick to the speed limit between just outside Ballarat all the way through to Melbourne. I've been led to believe that there may be a blitz on this weekend and at any rate the HWP tend to sit along there during the day.

lol @ stall.. you're getting closer now! The closer you get to Melbourne, the more speed cameras you'll encounter. Just keep this in mind cause Victoria is the revenue state. :P

The first fixed speed camera you will find is on the western Ring Road, that is assuming that you will be taking the Deer Park Bypass from the Western Highway.

Pre game, head to Hilton just opposite the G for a few brews. The place has a wild buzz to it before any game...

Wish I could!! Unfortunatly we are on a schedule to meet relatives and it looks like we could be late. I've had two beers at my parents friends house in caulfield, we are about to drive to the train station to catch a train to the quest apartments where I'm staying, opposite the MCG!! Score. Will contact you all soon, but now it looks like good ol' family orientated inebriation is about to take place..

geez! Half way through a game of footy-crows v hawks, it's ELECTRIC!! I've sunk 5 beers, 3 johhnys and a few jagers(pregame of course;) ) and I am having a ball. Hawks kicked 5 early goals first term, to crows 1, and then crows storm back to take a ten point lead at half time. Melbourne is everything I thought it would be-anyone want to get me ajob here???

Lol. One thing I noticed about Melbourne when I went there a few weeks ago is that the Dockers are basically unknown. Never see any supporters or merchandise anywhere.

They are pretty unknown but every now and then you do see some freo supporters (outside of game day)...such as yesterday I got served by a Freo supporter at a shop (wore my freo guernsey).
Thats true bout the merchandise, there's nothing here :P

Chased away the hangover. Mound of bacon, eggs, mushroom, tomato, chorizo sausage, baked beans and strong black coffee, and Mr Naish Esquire is good to rumble. What to do today?
