I think every second car is identical to mine. Green, stock, hubcaps, VS Commodore.

I parked at the shops the other day between two of them. :(

Theres one almost exactly the same in a opposing car club, only real difference is its wheels are a different make, but almost the same style!

HOTXR6 - i guess one of those green ef gli's you have spotted would have to be me as my number plate is spelt kng-40l (as my sig) and yes i have seen the other KIN-94l that your mentioning as well.

My twin brothers car is looking pretty neat with the chromes, lowering and exhaust lol

Nice! Matches the description exactly. Should get the two cars together for a cruise. Lol, the pics would be awesome!

Oh, and Fabian (the bloke with the other car) says you've got an awesome car! LOL

Given that its a black XR8 ute with stock rims it probably has a million twins - I see 3 utes that a very similar around here as it is. Theres a few distinguishing features though, vast majority being under the hood.

Some new rims coming soon though so hopefully it should stand out just a little bit more - enough to know its not your avergae XR8.

HOTXR6 - Believe it or not were actually triplets lol my mate had exactly the same car as me but was a EL GLI on the same rims i have (au xr8) litterally slammed all round with exhaust, air intake but with the plates RDY-2RN! The good old days man!

I have seen your mate on various occasions especially around the menai, peakhurst area. I still remember when it was fairly stock but just with the chromies and where it is now.....it really brings a tear to my eye lol.

Nope.

The advantage of a unique car is there is no other.

Its still in menai. He's back at uni now so he catches the train most days. Its still going all right. Athough he's been able to raise the lowest part of the car so now he wants to lower it even more!

Well in actual fact, the inspiration, that I got, to do up my VL, was from one in StreetCommodores last year, with a 355 and the same colour as mine and VY SSs.

Never seen another one, that looks exactly the same as mine though.

White VLs, give me the s***s.

Jarhead?

A few years back when all my car had was 2" out of the ride height and a stereo I saw my identical twin going the other direction on gympie rd - le mans red EB XR6 with the optional bodykit, stock XR rims and sfa ride height...couldn't believe it.

I haven't ever seen it again though, and considering the amount of stuff I have done to my car in the meantime its not very likely I will ever find a twin

Yup. Turned up to a few sprints and there was another guy there with the same model/colour car – slightly different wheels. He was a bit slower than me and guys who I am normally quicker than would come up to me in the pits and say that they had passed me out on the track. This was a bit of a pain for me, fortunately my “twin” got a bit quicker with experience.

Another time about 4 cars turned up that were same model/colour. Two of us were a very close match in times and we had a ball. The officials thought that it was just the one car continuously circulating.

There is one the same as mine. Another TE s-pack in monza red, not a v8 though and dead stock original. I want to buy it but every time i see it i'm going the other direction and have no oppurtunity to do a u-bolt and persue it. getting rare they are as there was only 500 made in Monza Red or Marigold yellow.

So far I haven't seen another car like mine. I've got a Mulberry XB Fairmont '73 sedan, with 14" Globes and a dual exhaust. I've seen 4 Mulberry cars in the flesh, including mine, and there was only one that was similar. If i'd have left the vinyl roof on it would have looked very similar. But it was only a TQE.

That said, there is a Mulberry coupe on ebay at the moment. Quite nice looking.

I left MY "stock as a rock" Merc Silver XR6T parked beside an identicle one in long term carpark at tulla... When I returned 3 days later, there were TWO more, one parked either side of us! That's FOUR in a row..One was a N/A.. But really, What ARE the chances?
Merc Silver must surely be the most popular colour in BA's.
