LOL at those Captiva links. I drive past a winery on my way to work, and they brought one aswell, I dont understand how that is good for their image.

Yeah sales not good but what do you expect really. Do these figures include exports aswell?

Also WTF, now people decide to buy a friggin Fairlane, I have NFI how people think they will get money back on those one day.

That mondeo cant come soon enough, would slot in nicely with the 6 and camry.

Poor sales result for Ford BUT they must be doing something right if a 5 year old Falcon can beat the latest greatest Aurion by almost 1000 units.

But shouldn't the Aurion and Camry results be tallied together after all they are the same car. A 4 cyl and 6 cyl. Same as falcon 6cyl and 8cyl. If you do combine them then the falcon is beaten fair and square. Even if you don't then the Aurion on its own, one engine is doing well against 3 engines (6, 6T and 8) offered from Ford.

Toyota got their Aurion classified as large car. In return, Holden got their captiva rated as a medium SUV. I mean what a pretender, its really a poor korean compact part-time 4 wheel drive bugger with an optional V6 engine (which is available on new Outland and will be on Rav4 soon)! Korean cars are often bigger in their class anyways.

Btw, Toyota/Lexus got a place in more than half of all segments top 3 (11/19) while ford only got 3 out of 19... Crazy!

Ford definately would do well with a medium car such as the modeo. If the Mazda 6 can get 1000 sales then the Mondeo should be able to compete
