Great thread topic

Our year got shut down due to actions of the year above us BUT here are some highlights from over the years.

Couple of tins of black paint and a dozen brushes and painted bars on all the windows and write 'Jail Break' all over the place. Result was a very unhappy principal who made them clean it all off the school or else he would call the cops. Graduating students got convicts numbers painted on their shredded uniforms and a few where wearing costume ball and chains.....went pretty well.

Overnight an entire classroom was emptied of every bit of furntiture and had it all arranged on the canteen roof. Complete with fake plants....priceless

At the traditonal spoof assembly done by the graduating students the student playing the 'stiff upper lipped' vice principle ended up stripping down to bra, suspenders and knickers and did 'I'm just a sweet transvestite' from Rocky Horror.

our year too got shut down cause of previous years cutting down trees and killing animals etc

but going to the school i went to (kings school) we still managed to make a heap of smartar sed signs and hung them out the front of the school "publik edyoocashun - yes its time 2 giv it moor" "honk if our fees are worth more than your car" etc

the thing that took the cake, was some guys took a photo of our headmaster, photoshopped it onto hitlers body and added the slogan "Ein Volk, Eine Leute, Ein HAWKES" being the headmasters name. got that printed on a huge banner and hung it off the balcony on the quad for the whole school to see. was gold.

but we had to be intelligent/sensible about everything otherwise we wouldnt be sitting the hsc at that school :(

We had a massive water fight that wasnt restricted to the school grounds only.... ;)
I think in the past years, the boys all banded together and moved teachers cars around.
From memory, one teacher had his 79 Corolla moved to a nearby industrial garbage hopper...

we set up a fundraiser to make our principal run for 24 hours. he always bragged at how he could run and tried to get to the city to surf each year. but he thought we'd not get the money and support so he'd get out of it. until we managed to raised 4 grand. so he had to! and he ran, from 9am, for bout 12 hours, had a 5 minute break every hour, then walked 6 hours, then spewd, then stumbled into school the next morning at 9am in time for assembly. bleeding feet, dehydrated, almost being carried! that sight still makes us smile. money went to can assist. 30 of us took turns to run support with him. although no animals died was a memorable experience.

We were pretty restricted too, but some great ideas from my year was placing "fresh" fish and meat in the roofs of the portable classrooms (Roof panels simply lift up!) and left there for the rest of the school to figure out where the smell was coming from after we had gone.

my graduation class was 17-18, so there was sfa we could do really....... especially in a school of 200!

i think a couple of cars got blocked up though

jars of mayo hidden well in areas likely to get warm/hot in the sun are good fun. They will heat up, go off (i mean really off) and after a while crack the jar - unleashing the smell. It can take a while for it to happen which gives you plenty of time to leave

chris from bluepower had a bit of fun with the teachers from my school :P
move teachers cars into doorways... things like that are always fun. no-one gets hurt either!

i put old fish bait in lockers that wernt being used and locked them up.
detergent in all fresh drinking water filters.

We erected a full toilet system with cistern on top of the flag pole.. it was a masterpiece but they took it down before the day commenced :-(

Ahh muck up day ...

A mates dad owns a steel fabrication business... We barrowed his mig and some steel and welded all the gates shut at 2pm... It was a ****er watching all the other kids trying to get out!!!!

Wow that sounds.... wrong.

We didn't get a muck up day. But on the last day I got everyone to sign an inflatable sex sheep, got drunk, and got in an all in brawl with some grade 8's. I think I cut loose a little to much.

Oh and I forgot to mention hacking up the grass are out front of the school.

With our school if anyone did anything bad, EVERYONE's VCE was put on the rocks and we couldn't sit.

They even tried to change the muck up day name to festivities day.

mine was 22 years ago didnt do much in them days but I clearly remember two phys ed teachers flushing a students head in the toilet bowl twice , He was a bit of a cheeky to them

Year 12 had muck up at pur school yesterday, it was pathetic. They "quarantined" classrooms by spraying sprays and putting caution tape everywhere and took photos of most of the class with a look on their face that said "You aren't funny, stop waisting our time." They also put L plates on teachers cars. I didn't mind so much, because on my way out, I knicked a few, because I need a couple more, mine have gotten wet hehe. (Why are they not plastic!?)

Year before that, one of the teachers that everyone thinks is a knob had his classroom filled with feces of various types. Also, they put honey on the railings (so people got sticky hands walking down the stairs) and painted some words on the quad area and on the grass in the back fields. At lunchtime and that, they wore balaclavas, and stormed around pegging eggs at people and stuff. Made quite a smelly mess. I think there was also poo thrown around in the canteen, which I think poses a reasonable health hazard. Anyway, I think a couple of people were arrested, hence this years muckup was just pathetic.

Not sure what I plan to do for muckup. I am pretty sure they will tell us we cant do anything fun, but there are a few funny buggers in the grade that will pull some funny stuff off. Might involve some photoshopped posters, practical pranks and stuff.

had it last year

1. got a heap of years 12's to park their cars in the quad ( including mine)
2. filled the teachers staffroom up with a dry powder extinguisher
3. and showed up very drunk and kept drinking

WEll if anyone knows a certain school in SE suburbs of melbourne on springvale rd in Keysborough you may have heard of what we did in 1998 . We placed a detour sign on sprigvale rd and forced all of the cars to actually go through the school. It was this way for almost 2 hours till someone realised and pulled it out. Other than that we put teachers cars in trading post and moved a few areound .and principals house for sale .
THats about all we had massive water fight on the oval .

In 2003 did a few things. Put 2 hoses in the hall and let them run the janitor didn't notice for 3 hours when he did it was full of water and the wooden floors were shagged. Got into the school with cars and did burnouts everywhere (untill the cops came). Filled water bombs with off milk and threw them into class rooms. let a few teachers tyres down and took the valves out. Moved a teachers mini to the other side of the school. Massive water fights, and that's about all i can remember.

Well, our school is off a small 4 lane highway and ppl a few years ago diverted all the traffic through the school, like trucks and cars and everything by using signs, funniest thing ever! and then i heard that one school got 3 pigs, labeling them 1,2 and 4. So they will be on the hunt for the 3rd pig and never find it!

I don't think i recall of my school having a muck-up day in the 5 years i've been there.
I'm in grade 12 now and haven't heard anything of it

Same here, I had never heard of it before now, and all we did in Year 12 was bring a lot of grog to school and get totally smashed and carry on a bit during the final assembly and continue on that evening... Im quite happy to say I got very drunk while never killing any animals or ruining anyone's personal property or school property, and still had a lot of fun!

I went to a Christian School in high school (those here will know it), what I came up with was to wait till the night before, and get into the message board out the front of the school (had one of those ones where you use the plastic letters to write whatever you want). We got into that, wrote "under new management" in there, and had a big inflatable devil next to it. The sign is on a main road here, so it got plenty of funny looks as people were driving to work that morning!

Apart from that we did the usual, garden gnomes stuck everywhere was fun (they werent stolen though), LOTS of washing up detergent in the toilets worked well, as did putting a big padlock on the groundskeeper's shed to keep him occupied when he went to get some tools to clean up our efforts.
